  • RI30 is definitely more challenging than 30DS, but I don't think I could do it without doing 30DS first. Each week gets harder. I'm on week 3 now and it's very challenging, but not impossible!
  • Are you part of the "Jillian Michaels Workout Junkies" group on Facebook? If not, I highly suggest you join. Those girls have got a lot of good advice. They suggested I do the RI30 after the Shred, and I'm really enjoying it. It's challenging, but not impossible. I couldn't have done it without doing the Shred first. I…
  • I have four kids, my youngest being 14 months. I've never had a super flat tummy, so I'm not sure about loose skin. Hoping to just get flatter and get rid of the pooch.
  • Thank you! I'm really enthused that the program had such an impact! Day one of R in 30 was a bit challenging, but definitely easier than it would have been had I not done the Shred first. I plan on doing NMTZ after R in 30.
  • Thanks so much! The change was pretty gradual, but I don't think it really started happening until about midway through the program. The end of level 2-3 was when I really started noticing it, but it wasn't until I took my results pics and compared that I could tell a significant difference. Are you using protein powder?…
  • Thanks! I'm aiming to get down to 145. Just started "Ripped in 30" last night, so we'll see how it goes! Good luck on your Shred. Level 2 is so tough with all the plank moves!
  • Certainly not my most flattering pics, but I'm excited to see such a change! Finished the shred yesterday and will be starting "Ripped in 30" tonight!
  • I keep forgetting to check this thread! Y'all sound like you're doing well. Keep up the good work! I have two more days of the Shred left, so I'm hoping to finish level 3 tomorrow. I've found level 3 to be the most difficult, but it also seems to go very quickly. I'm currency debating if I want to do "Ripped in 30" or "No…
  • Day one of level three kicked my butt on Wednesday, so I took a day off from the Shred on Thursday. My abs are killing me. Those moves are brutal. Back at it tonight. I can only hope and assume that all the hard work will pay off!
  • Thanks, Alka78! I've lost 10 pounds since I started back on MFP about a month ago, and about 5 pounds since I started the Shred. I've also lost 1/2-1" in my measurements for each area (thighs, waste, hips, etc). Don't lose hope! Did you take measurements and before pics?
  • Finished level 2 tonight and previewed level 3. I tried out some of the moves while I was previewing it, and man, it looks challenging!
  • Two more days of level two. My knee pain that I was experiencing has dissipated, thanks to purchasing a fitness trampling for the jumping cardio moves. Well worth the $40!
  • Halfway there! My efforts are not in vain: I've been taking my one-year-old to swim classes this past month. The first class was on Feb. 29th, to which I wore a swimsuit that I didn't wear again until today and I discovered that I had to adjust the sides and the halter ties because it was too baggy!
  • Level 2, day 3 for me today. I'm really enjoying it so far! It's nice to be doing something different, and I feel like my body is adequately conditioned, thanks to level 1.
  • Thanks for the feedback! Shin splints are healed, but I'm now dealing with a sharp pain on the outside of my left leg, below my knee. It's especially bad on stairs. I'm doing RICE as much as possible. I've never had this type of issue before. Makes me feel old, and I'm only 35. :(
  • I like the idea of doing it outside, but I always have to workout at night once the kids are in bed. :(
  • Hoping to start level two today. I took off three days throughout level one for leg pain issues, but not consecutive days. I just altered the exercises as necessary to avoid added stress. I previewed level 2 last night. Looks challenging!
  • Looking great! I just did day 8 of level one. Very anxious to see my final results!
  • Day three for me was yesterday. It's getting easier and feeling shorter, but I'm still have to pause here and there, particularly with the push-ups, occasionally for the cardio, and for the anterior raises/lunges. Those are so difficult for me! I feel like my shoulders are going to fall off. :(

  • Just finished day two, level one about an hour ago. Didn't have to pause as much as yesterday and the workout went quickly. But now I'm starting to feel it in my thighs and abs! Strength and core are much easier for me than cardio. I'm looking forward to my endurance catching up with my ambition!
  • Wow, great timing! I'm Sara and am currently staying at home with my fourth and youngest child, who just turned a year old. I lost all my pregnancy weight and then some after my oldest child was born 12 years ago. I was on the right track to lose after baby#2 eight years ago, but unexpectedly fell pregnant with #3 six…
