Honestly I believe my mom really did the best she knew to do. She grew up being abused and in a house where her mom was high and doing whatever she could to get pills. My mom worked hard and would eat mayonnaise sandwiches just so her kids had food. My mom wasn't perfect but I love her for doing her best

It's crazy how some adults can be mean to kids for no reason. Thankfully I turned out mostly OK, but my heart breaks for the ones that didn't and the ones that are going through it right now. You didn't deserve that at all ❤️
