  • @dramagirl007 I just logged my 70th day, too! Congrats to us! I often go back and look at my weight loss progress. There are many weeks when I posted no loss and I was always in enough of a deficit to be down 1 or 2 pounds. Instead of getting down I just got patient. I knew I was doing everything right and that it would…
  • I have started using smaller plates, too. Cute, square ones that I bought just for size. I live alone and eat frozen meals, mainly for dinner, but still like to have a nice looking meal. I dump it out on an empty plate and fill the empty space with veggies. I often will use a smaller fork.
  • I have the same issue. I don't see anything that says "view diary". My diary is also open.
  • I am 5'6 and weigh 153.2 (as of this morning). BMI is finally in normal range, but I DEFINITELY have fat to lose. Belly, back, some in the arms.

  • I have 8 pounds to go and I really want to lose them by June 16. Cruise to Bermuda and then 2 week in Cape Cod.
  • Exercise, Exercise, Exercise. You can earn back a lot of calories to eat. Just walking will do it.
  • Oops, double posted. I can't figure out how to delete a reply.
  • @Ashtoretet What Christine_72 said. My Fitbit is synced to MFP. As soon as I hit higher than Lightly Active, as far as my steps go, I start getting calories added back to my original allotment. I also walk/run 5.5 miles daily (today I did 8 miles), so I always can eat more than the 1360 I am given for my goal. I never eat…
  • I have had to go in a change my goal each time, the closer I get to goal. Even though my weight is updated each time, I still have to update the goal. I check it every two pounds at this point and each time my calorie allotment decreases by 10. I just exercise more! :p
  • @glassyo @CooCooPuff I just got back from my local frozen yogurt shop. I live in a very small town, and yes I did bring my scale. I'm so glad I did. I love to add Butterfinger, Hot Fudge topping and whipped cream. My entire concoction was 465 calories. I also entered it under My Recipes for future reference. I know the…
  • It's also really good on French Fries! :p

  • I hope this isn't right. I am set to Lightly Active and am given calories to eat back every day. It just takes more activity before I get them.
  • Lemongrass chicken and steamed veggies is what I get, plus a salad roll. Stay away from any of the curry items!
  • I walk/run 5.5 miles 5-6 times a week on a hilly golf course trail. I usually start somewhere between 3:30 and 5:30 in the afternoon. I have found that if I have not eaten enough for lunch (maybe I'm saving my calories for dinner, or something) then I have a really hard time making it through my routine in a timely, thus…
  • I really want to bring my scale with me to the frozen yogurt shop! I am almost positive I will, one of these days. :p
  • Glad to help!
  • @cmriverside Thanks!
  • I only eat back my exercise calories if I have done a specific activity, not just what I earn from my Fitbit after I have surpassed my Lightly Active status. I walk/run 5.5 miles every afternoon. I use Runkeeper and my Fitbit to monitor my activity. I do not log what my Runkeeper gives me because my Fitbit is already…
  • I didn't read all the comments posted, so sorry if I repeat something. Most swimming pools these days seem to have all kinds of devices to help with fitness. There are great foam contraptions that fit between your legs so you are just working your arms, or you can use kick boards so your legs get a good work out. When I…
  • I am 50 and went through menopause 3 years ago. Early, I know. I lost 70 pounds doing Nutrisystem right at the beginning of my menopause - only had one period during that year. Some of the weight crept back on, and I have now lost 30 pounds (down more than I was with my initial loss) since January doing CICO. I started…
  • Oh my gosh! That is a great idea. I walk about 5.5 miles a day, but never thought to walk to the yogurt shop! I'm going to start doing that. Unfortunately, I love Butterfinger and hot fudge on mine. I keep thinking I should bring my scale once to figure out the calories.
  • Get your brother's scale back and get him a new one!!
  • I just noticed the same thing on my forearms! Was concerned for a bit.
  • I even weigh my individual yogurt cups. Danon Greek Light. Every one weighs less than the weight listed, so I. don't bother to adjust.
  • From everything I have read on here the whole point is to weigh everything (even pre packages foods) because the actual weight of each item is not what the package says. Even the Nutrisystem packages foods weighs more than the serving size they list. I only have 10 pounds to go and I weigh EVERYTHING. If my food item…
  • Thank you!
  • Which weight is best to use?
  • All the calculators I have used have always given me the same numbers. I am currently 25.02. So close to normal!

  • My kiddos did not come home for Mother's Day and my mom lives 3000 miles away. SAD. BUT I went out to dinner with friends. I went for a 6 mile run in the morning, so Olive Garden was pretty much free rein for me. I had the lunch serving of Ravioli di Portebello, minestrone soup, 2 plain bread sticks and a 20 oz Shock Top…
  • Currently my belly is the only thing on my body that looks fat. I am down 30 pounds from January. I can see my collarbone, xiphoid process and and my shoulders are super boney, but I still have belly fat! I will say that I see a huge improvement in my belly, but it is slow going. I still want to lose 10-15 pounds, and I'm…
