The concept of vehicle foods, stuff like hamburger buns, chips, bread, taco shells, etc that exist just to give me other foods. LOL I don't eat a lot of them anymore which definitely helps keep calories down and let's me enjoy the really good parts of the food that I was using the vehicle foods to get in my mouth.

Your diary is not open to public so we can't see. If you want to change that, go to settings --> diary settings --> and scroll down to diary sharing and change to public.

I'm going out tonight, I know I want to have tacos and beer. So this morning, I prelogged the tacos and beer I want to have and then worked backwards to see how many calories I had for breakfast and lunch. Prelogging a higher calorie type meal on a day I know I don't want to go over my calories but I still want to enjoy…

You get back on track by getting back on track. You know the routine. Just get back to logging, even if you are still eating kinda crappy, the act of logging itself will hopefully help you start making better choices and getting back into the swing of things. You've got this!

It's totally fine. Though for the greek yogurt example, try adding crystal light. OMG, it's DELICIOUS. It's my treat every day.

You should try his "YA" series The Reckoners to tied you over while waiting for the next stormlight. It was WAY better than it had any right to be. It's a trilogy and it's all done so now getting suck waiting for new books (though he of COURSE is planning on doing a related series cause sanderson just can't stop writing)…

That's set up for a loss of 1.5 lbs per week. Not sure what your goal weight is, but at 163, I'd guess you're probably at another 20ish pounds to go? I'd adjust to lose 1 lb per week and eat more calories if you're starving. The weight loss needs to be sustainable, and if you're starving with the calorie requirements to…

Sedentary still assumes a certain amount of movement, so if you've enabled your fitbit to sync negative calorie adjustments, it means you've moved even less than the sedentary calorie allowance. Sedentary assumes you're walking to your car, to the office, to the kitchen and back, etc etc. So let's say your sick, you didn't…

Since you know that you have trouble with going 100% and burning out, make NOT doing that your first step. At your weight, the only thing you need to focus on right now is your diet. Have you gone through the MFP set up yet to determine what your calorie intake should be per day? If not, go do that, you'll probably be…

If they are friends with you and your diary is open to friends then they can copy your meal. That's the only way I can think of off the top of my head.

Dr. Oz is annoying, but there's nothing wrong with using a plan for guidelines and suggestions as long as it's healthy (meaning not dangerous) and works for you. I started my weight loss using the horrifically named "flat belly diet". Did I think it would give me a flat belly? Nope. But it was a plan and meals that I could…

My teen boys love homemade kale chips. Rip the kale into bite sized chunks, spray with a little olive oil, toss on some garlic powder and salt and bake at 350 for about 8-10 minutes. Watch carefully cause they'll burn. The only other way they'll bother to eat it is sauteed in with my sweet potato noodles.

I like the beginner bodyweight routine from Nerdfitness. https://www.nerdfitness.com/beginner-body-weight-workout-lose-weight-build-muscle-anywhere/

Nah, I'm good but thanks for the "advice". I'll stick with what makes ME feel good and actually gets me to the gym every day.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KA7WL7W - This scale is accurate and pretty darn cheap. A scale is eriuosly one of the best things you can purchase to help with your weight loss. Humans in general SUCK at estimating weights of foods. The 3 oz you think you're having may very well be 5 or 6 oz. Grab a scale, your…

When I went to get my first ever facial, during the consultation she asked me how much water I drink a day. My answer was none. Literally not even a cup of water. My entire day was energy drinks and coke instead of the water I knew I should be drinking. That tipped me over the edge from the vague "I really should start…

Definitely try different instructors. I'm a crunch member to and in the month since I started doing Zumba I've tried all of my gyms instructors. There's two of them that I don't like. But the rest are great. One of the ones I don't like it's the most popular instructors they have but he just isn't for me. You gotta find…

I prelog my lunch and snack each morning during the work week while I'm eating breakfast. That way I'm not tempted to go out for fast food because I've already logged. Fast food at work is my kryptonite so this Kris me on track. I also like living those so I can ponder what to make for dinner during the day that will fit…

I just started Zumba about a month ago and I'm really enjoying it. I went 5 times this week. It's a great workout and the time flies by. I'm not a dancer or very coordinated but I was picking up the moves pretty well by the second week of classes. I still have sections every class where I have no clue what they are doing…

That's amazing news. I'm so happy you took the step. I wish you so much success on your path. Be easy on yourself.

I had a huge craving for ice cream last night. To the point where I was strongly considering hopping in the car to the store and getting a carton. Instead of caving to the craving, I blended up some frozen banana and topped it with some chocolate syrup. It totally satisfied me and I didn't end up eating 300 plus calories…

You've lost 28 lbs in around 3 months? You are kicking butt!!! Congrats on the loss. I'm at 202 right now, looking to get around 140 so similar stats. Feel free to add me!

How has no one claimed Salted Caramel as their favorite yet? It's absolutely fantastic!!!

LOL Yeah it definitely sounds a little counter intuitive but I wasn't trying to quit caffeine necessarily, I was just trying to quit the minimum of 3 Rockstars I was having every single day. I'm happy with my one cup of coffee equivalent vitamin over the 720 mg of caffeine I was getting from my blue rockstars. My energy…

It's not a whole lot, about the same as a cup of coffee. I took them mainly to help stave off the side effects from caffeine withdrawal. It definitely did the trick. https://www.oneaday.com/womens-active-metabolism

My biggest tip is prelogging meals. Like it's 9 am here, but I've already logged my breakfast, lunch, and snack. It works well for me because if I've already decided on and logged what I'm having, I'm much more likely to stick to it instead of going "eh, screw it, go to jack in the box". It also lets me know what cals I…

I take a women's one a day Active. I mainly take it because it contains caffeine (I cut out the 3-4 energy drinks I was drinking every day) and because my iron has a tendency to be low. I figure if my body needs any of the other stuff in it, well that's a bonus.
