Maybe I set it up wrong. I chose sedentary, with 2 workouts per week. I walk about 3,000 steps per day and do weight training 3 days per week. I picked "2 workouts" because I didnt know whether it was asking for cardio or what.

This article is what got me thinking. He references many studies. http://bayesianbodybuilding.com/gain-muscle-and-lose-fat-at-the-same-time/

I thought resistance training has a fairly sizable epoc? https://www.unm.edu/~lkravitz/Article%20folder/epoc.html

No i'm not. I'm trying CICO. I've done lots of low carb in the past.

In the other post, I think I said it in the first sentence too. I read it in a low carb book. Maybe I forgot. Apologies if I did.

Ok. I guess the "stop living in the past" part sounded a little harsh to me. Didn't sound jokey. But it's alright.

Personally I would consider 50g carbs per day as low carb. I go into ketosis at anything under 60.

Sort of an odd response. Nothing to do with living in the past. Simply asking if it was true.

Did you read my original post? I said in the first sentence that my mother told me this. She means well.

Thanks everyone.

Thanks Jon!

Thank you.

Thank you. I'm surprised. I thought the initial response would be my carbs are too high. Shows you what (little) I know!
