For heart health adding cardio is kinda important.

I use Endomondo on my phone. You input your age, gender, weight, etc. You can also pair it with a HRM.

Buy at least a few new things (or new to you things)!! I'm a teacher and I always buy a few new things. I want to lose at least another 15, maybe 20. I've lost 98 pounds, so saying that's all I have to lose sounds odd. Anyway, it's nice to feel good in what you wear - aim for that.

Swimsuits for All has some great sales right now and has all sizes.

Before: around 270 In April: 185 Today I'm 169 and still losing. My weight loss started with some health issues that caused me to lose close to 10 pounds in a few days. It was the first time I really saw my weight affecting my health.

You can also put in your own calorie goal, so you could put in a goal in the middle of the .5 lb loss and the 1 lb loss.
-
I've lost 96 lbs without paying attention to carbs.

You can add me if you like. I'm 50 and I've been on MFP since January of 2016. I'm 5'3.5". I started at 267 and I'm now around 170. I started exercising in May 2016, and try for 5 days/week but don't always hit it. I like to walk (4 mph pace for the most part), though have begun to add some "running" when on the treadmill.…

I've logged for 549 days and lost 96 lbs. You're welcome to add me.

I use Endomondo to track my walking, then let it tell MFP.

I've been over 100 pounds overweight for most of my adult life. There's nothing anyone can say to me that I don't already think about myself. It's hard for me to believe that there are people that are morbidly obese that are truly happy that way. I don't need other people shaming me; I've pretty much got that covered. My…

If you've been logging your food for a month and making some healthy changes, then you are definitely on the right track! I agree with the others about measuring what you eat - with a scale when possible. Please don't get discouraged by the scale - you are doing the hard work and it will begin to pay off.
-
I couldn't agree more with logging your food. Make a commitment to yourself to log all your food, no matter where the calories land. That one habit is what keeps me from slipping - I have to log. It keeps me honest and aware of what's going in my mouth. Is it easy?? No. Do it anyway. I know you can.

I have pizza two days a week about every other week, and have been doing that since the beginning of this journey. My hubby and I get a medium, and we each have two slices for two nights. We used to get a large and have two slices for two nights. I used to dip the crust in the garlic sauce, but I'm fine without it. Lately…

I've lost 95 pounds and I treat myself regularly to sweets (mostly dark chocolate). We all have to figure out what works for us.

I love my scale!! I weigh almost everything, usually to the gram or milliliter.
-
Probably wouldn't hurt to pay a visit to your doctor.

Make a promise to yourself to log, no matter what the calories. I find when I'm committed to logging it can stop what could become days of uncontrolled eating in its tracks. It's hardest on days when I'm having to estimate a lot due to a party or something like that. While I try to be as accurate as I can, it's more about…

Houston here, moved my workouts to the gym for the summer.

Don't give up on cycling, get yourself to a good bike shop that knows how to fit you to your bike. You may need a new seat, or you may just need some adjustments to your fit.

I lost 133 lbs on WW and if I had kept doing what I learned, I wouldn't have gained it back. The accountability helped. There's nothing wrong with that. I don't think it made me lazy. MFP helps me get back to eating right and in the right amounts, just like WW did. There is support to be had as well. It doesn't strike me…

I have a Jawbone UP Move that I got on Amazon for $25 and I really like it. It syncs well with MFP. I also use a Wahoo HR monitor when working out, and it syncs well with Endmondo - it was about $60.

I've been using Peter Pan whipped peanut butter - 150 calories for 2 T. I know it's not a lot of savings, but it makes a difference. It's also far easier to spread, so it's easier to use less.

Awesome!!!

It sounds to me like you know what you're doing better than I do. Have you considered a visit to the doctor to rule out any physical issues?
-
It seems that you are at a good weight for your height. I understand that you would like to lose weight. It's especially hard when you hardly have any to lose. I agree with everyone else, make sure you're eating at least 1200 calories a day. It sounds like you're doing fine - losing about .5 pounds a week.
-
I buy dark chocolate kisses - 21 calories each. I typically eat five a day, letting each one melt in my mouth a little.

I thought I'd check in. I'm a lifetime member at WW - having lost 133 lbs to get there. 14 years later I found myself with most of those pounds back and 14 years older. Sigh. Anyway, I'm determined that I can, at the very least, get out of plus size clothes again. When I lost before I was hanging out with a very fit group…

The amount of calories your body needs to live depends on your height/weight and activity level. Therefore, the amount you eat to lose depends on the same factors. For example, I need to lose a lot, so I'm losing by eating over 1700 calories a day. I'm hoping this is my last weight loss journey, but we'll see. I'm a…
