I really avoid going out for dinner too often as it can be difficult to know for sure. However, I also want to live and enjoy life too! So I try to go to places like chain restaurants where I know the calories if they're listed (most are) and eat within my range. I also play it safe by getting a garden salad, 6 oz steak,…

Thanks for the vote of confidence but wow. Looks pretty tough!
-
Uhh...no. Not for me. Just saw a video. Kudos to you guys but this isn't my type of workout. Thanks anyway
-
Haha not sure I'll ever become an intermediate since I've only used light weights but I'll check this out. Thanks!
-
I will check into this. Thanks!

Do you lift? What are your recommendations?
-
Are there any online workouts that you would recommend?
-
I love this too! Have you tried some sea salt in your yogurt with peanut butter powder or chocolate peanut butter powder? It gives a Reese's chocolate taste. That with some 70% cacao geradelli chocolate chips is super yummy! I also use some sweetner like pyure. Do you use any sweetner and is it good plain?

These are all exactly what I do plus run and bike daily. I've lost 25 lbs in 3 months and also have flat abs and also have 2 kids, lol! Not bulky at all but don't want to get that way as some people on here make it seem like 3-10 lbs is nothing when I use them for triceps and those kick butt!! At least mine, haha! I'm…

Muscle + less fat = TONE
-
-
Maybe I'm confused with all of this. Sorry. I am not trying to build muscle or be a muscle builder or anything like that lol! Just sculpting and toning and 3 lbs is great for many exercises. Try the fitness blender videos on you tube and tell me they don't work! 3-10 lbs is great for toning arms
-
And using light weights 3-10 lbs have produced amazing results thank you!
-
I know that the fat loss would be showing the muscle more however what would the point be in all of the exercises that people come up with such as fitness blender, Denise Austin arms, etc. if they didn't work?! I've seen lots of thin people with no muscle definition in their arms and they have 0 fat, so what do you say to…

Cows eat grass. Need I say more?

I agree. Typically I do cardio every day and would want to keep that up. It's just the weight lifting I'm not sure about but for now going with some rest days as my neck feels strained a bit.
-
Tone and definition would be from sculpting the muscles using weights. Fat loss is from diet. Both together definitely help!
-
What do you mean by "small cut atm"
-
It's definitely working as I have tone and definition now so that's a good thing. But you're right. I need to just listen to my body and give some rest days too.
-
Do you wet your hair and condition in the shower though? My problem is that I feel like I need to at least get my whole head wet or I don't feel clean, lol. My hair sounds like yours!
-
I can only imagine! I would be starving if I were doing marathon training!! Good luck to you! I didn't eat back calories when I was 168 to where I am now and I lost weight with a 1200 calorie/day diet. Now that seems way too low for me and I'm now eating 1600-1800 calories a day and eating at least half of my calories…

I don't think it's a nervous system problem. Just sore muscles and I was thinking maybe I've been doing too much because there's a lot of repetitions.
-
I've been using collagen powder to at least help plump up my skin around my neck and see a difference somewhat. Just started using it about a month ago. It's worth a try is the way I see it. Never hurts, right? Also vitamin C.
-
Yes, this community really has helped me a lot! I never used it before and actually hadn't noticed it when I used this app a year ago. It's so helpful to know I'm not alone with lots of common thoughts with my weight. You can do this!! We will do it together!!
-
Yes. This exactly. Take 5 lbs at a time. The weight doesn't fall off right away (sad but true). You can do this and do it for YOU and your health and the healthy body God wants all of us to have to live life to our fullest God given potential. I like to consider my hips and knees and how over time not only can our heart…

Thank you so much for this great idea! I will definitely do this from now on. I too, struggle with the pasta "calling me" either from the pot of pasta with cheesy goodness or from the fridge! I sometimes feel bad that I haven't been making Mac and cheese as much for my teen daughter due to my addiction to pasta. I made it…

Thanks so much and really wise advice. It's encouraging to me to know you traveled that much and were able to keep off the weight except for 2 lbs! That's fabulous!!! If I can do the same, I'll be happy. It's all in the mindset I think. Last year I just went a bit overboard and gained so much weight on all of my vacations…

How about Greek yogurt with pyure sweetner with some peanut butter powder, and sea salt? Super yummy and filling. I'm like you though. I do like crackers so keep enough calories for carr water crackers (8 for 120 calories) and use 2 pieces of small sliced cheese from the Costco platter or you can slice your own and divide…

Great advice! Thanks. Very true!

Perfect and thanks for your great advice! Congrats to you!!
