Boulder Canyon avocado oil kettle style potato chips with sea salt are amazing! I love them and they’re so healthy and “Bobby Approved” check out his app. I get these from Costco. Also the sweet potato chips with sea salt and avocado oil “Jackson’s” are delicious and don’t have all the inflammatory ingredients that regular…

I just started taking a few days ago. I wonder if I have to use the golo 2-1-2-1 for it to work as long as I’m tracking my calories through MFP. My friend has lost inches using this supplement and she looks so good. She definitely looks smaller but she said she didn’t think she lost much weight. Maybe she doesn’t own a…

Have you all kept the weight off using golo? Do the pills eventually stop working?

Thanks so much!

Why doesn’t MFP allow settings to be under 1200 calories? I get what you’re saying as far as being in a deficit. I found this on livestrong.com Because a 1,000-calorie diet is exceptionally low, your body might compensate by slowing down daily functions and making you feel tired so you do not overexert yourself. As a…

How does it work? Anything under 1200 calories and our bodies are in starvation mode, holding on to every bit of fat.

Cucumbers sliced with sea salt- yummy!! Large dill pickles, popcorn

Are you trying to lose? If so, you aren’t eating enough calories to lose and that’s why you’re gaining. Why so low?
-
Do you let this sit for awhile to thicken? Sounds yummy! I’ve only put a tsp or 2 in Greek yogurt with peanut butter powder and it thickens the longer it sits in the fridge. Wasn’t sure if that’s how this works too or do you eat right away? Thanks for your help

I sometimes will substitute applesauce for the oil to bring down my calorie count and also don’t use as much sugar if baking from scratch. Eggs are healthy and add protein but more calories so you could always omit the eggs out of the cake mix if using a mix. I actually did that last week when I baked cupcakes. I was out…

Oh my do I understand! I work night shift 12's and sometimes it's like I am in the mindset that I've "earned it" from running all night long, lifting weights (my heavier patients, lol) so I want to stop by the Dunkin' Donuts close to where I live. I always feel sick when I do! I have tried to do as others and eat a protein…

Thanks!

I use buttermilk ranch (Walmart) and it's 55 calories for 1 tablespoon. I put that in a plastic container filled with my greens and other veggies and shake it up and it's amazing how perfect just 1 TBS of the dressing is and it's still ranch. The buttermilk is lower calories than other ranch. It's 110 calories for 2 tbs

Well I made a huge container. I guess I should have weighed each item and then added the grams? And then for servings, put how many gms? Still trying to get used to this! Thanks!!

What kind of cast iron skillet do you recommend? Great tips! Thanks!

Sauté green peppers, onions, garlic, mushroooms, whatever you like, add spaghetti sauce, throw in some oregano, basil, and then boil your favorite pasta...that's a vegetarian kind of spaghetti meal. Taco soup-my son is vegetarian so sometimes I will cook chicken ahead and add that to the rest of our families soup if they…

Thanks for your replies. I actually am not much of a wine drinker at all but was at Aldis and thought I would see what kind you all would say is the best. I didn't get any that night since I had left by the time I read your responses but now know the kinds to try sometime.

The reason I try to stay away from soy products is the increase chance of breast cancer from consuming too much soy. I have a strong family history of breast cancer so try to stay away from soy because of this.

Toast, banana, saltines, rice

I just binged on homemade chocolate chip cookies. Ugh. I feel sick. Never again. Ha! Not too happy with myself :/

I agree...I would never last at this point on 1200-1300 calories/day. When I was 178lbs yes. Now at 145lbs..not enough.
-
Wonderful!! Congratulations and you don't look at all like you're 60. Much younger looking. 1200 calories don't seem to be enough for me right now. I don't know how you do it. So difficult! When I was heavier, 1200 calories wasn't a big deal but now that doesn't seem like enough. I would be hangry lol!!

Thanks...I don't know how to open your diary. Also, how do you set your goals of fats, protein and carbs? When I've tried to change them from what MFP has me set at, it goes back to the old numbers. Also, what's the easiest way for you to see that you're getting those percentages by what you're eating? It seems confusing…

Here's my nutrition for today. Is this going to hinder my weight loss or do you think I can still lose weight like this if i change my settings to "maintain"? And I did eat back most of my exercise calories except for the 94.
-
So here I am 3 months later and I'm up to 145.8 as of today :( I know it could be worse but it's so frustrating to me. I've eaten way too many yummy fall goodies lately and need to up my game!! I've still been exercising but I've gone over my maintenance calories...it's so difficult to not do that somedays and especially…

I actually give up and just don't finish logging on days like that...what's the point because then I feel more guilty. I think it's the time of year too. So many yummy things with pumpkin/Apple everything...so as you guessed I also binged last night and for myself I think it's because I had been away at a friends for a few…

I agree

I also use Great Lakes Collagen in my coffee...or when I remember to, lol! That would really even make it frothier!
-
I actually like it black many days as well. But to get the protein powder in for added protein, it tastes very good as a latte and the "cream"'for my coffee when I want that ;)

LOL I'm sure that would be less than yum :p I think there was a typo with the coconut did you mean coconut milk or is there something else
