The other day I made a roast with onions, carrots and potatoes in my ninja and had added a pack of French onion soup mix with water. Super yummy. I weighed it out for my calories. Then for my dinner at work, I weighed out the roast beef and made into a hot roast beef sandwich...super yum!! I also took a mixed greens salad…

Thanks this sounds delicious! I think I'll try this for work tonight!

Thanks. That's how I read it but when I weighed my one small piece of fried bacon and it weighed 14gm, I wasn't too happy!

Great thanks!!

No...to tone and I say that knowing that people will say toning is not a thing but I do see defined muscle since doing these exercises regularly. Everyone notices my tones arms, shoulders, legs...so they do work. I'm just wondering though if it's better to stick to one of the 10 min workouts for say the arms for 3 times a…

Oh my...thanks guys! Now I feel really dumb lol!

Ok so I'm still confused. Here's a picture of what I'm talking about. Using the recipe builder, if I have say 6 russet potatoes, 3/4 cup of 2 % milk, and 3 tablespoons of Land of lakes butter (with canola oil)...how do I make all of this into one big serving using this recipe builder as there isn't a place to put the gm to…
-
I don't understand how to do this. When I use the recipe builder it only allows me to put in servings in whole numbers not in gm servings to calculate the whole dish. Does that make sense?

I haven't ON at Walmart. I have tried the Pure Protein but that has more calories than I like but it's good. Thanks
-
Thanks! How many calories are these?
-
Could you please post a picture of the box of these so I know what I'm looking for? Thanks!

*i have lost not lots 27 lbs lol

I don't understand why your granola bar won't work with coffee? I've been eating pretty much this for the last 5 months and have lots 27 lbs. Each morning I look forward to my 90 calorie Walmart chocolate chip granola bar with 20-32 gm of Great Value Peanut butter on top and also have a banana and my coffee with 1 tbs half…

Ok I totally can relate and my kids are now 16 and 18. My kids recently told me however that they have fun memories of me running on the treadmill or working out to Denise Austin or Leslie Sansone videos when they were just small tots! I'm so glad they have these fun memories and now are healthy themselves and wanting to…

As others have said...the butt bones hurt while on my bike now or doing certain floor exercises that I used to have the padding for and I no longer do...wow does it make a difference! Also in bed I'm a side sleeper and my knees feel so bony now. These were 2 things that made an uncomfortable difference but not complaining…

If I eat at a Chinese restaurant which is a special treat, I will eat whatever it is my heart desires! Typically it's chicken lo mein or crispy steak or Kung pao chicken. I will either split it with a family member or bring home the rest. I also try to limit myself to a quarter of the serving as well. Chinese food does…

Most definitely!! It's so much better eating it this way because you can keep spraying without the guilt (for me at least) when you know exactly how many calories you're consuming.

I don't know why I never would have thought to weigh it before when I first posted this...using a bowl, zeroing that out and weighing the whipped cream as I scoop it out or spray it out. It makes me feel so much more in control knowing that I can have as much as I want as long as I have the calories...and still lose…

Hi, first of all, congratulations on your weigh loss! That's awesome!! I also prefer working out at home and use my treadmill, elliptical and stationary bike for an hour. I started doing YouTube free workouts through fitness blender in addition to my workouts. I try to do just the 10 min ones for arms, legs and abs and…

Add a little twist of sea salt to this and it's super yummy! Think a Reese's? This has been one of my snacks for weight loss of 26lbs for awhile or my lunch. I also sometimes add chia seeds to thicken it up like a pudding and refrigerate for 5-10 min. So good!
-
I agree. I have lost 26 lbs and I've actually noticed that by eating back all of my calories now that I'm closer to maintenance (prior to being this close to goal I would eat back only 1/2 my exercise calories), and also setting my goal to lose 0.5 lb/ week, I lose a bit easier than restricting myself. I'm the same. I…

Haha I know right? Seriously, I feel like I am doing word problems in math from elementary school! I should have taken those more seriously and paid closer attention, lol! This kind of thing boggles my brain sometimes! Thanks all for your help!

I'm going by what the weight of the package said of the ground turkey without the seasonings. It said that it was 4 oz. 12 servings. I only used 2 lbs. which comes out to 32 oz. and my recipe makes 12 servings which I'm calculating to be 2.66 oz? Just wondering how to come up with the serving size from this info. Does that…
-
Well I hadn't weighed the entire thing previously so it's too late now. I'm just wondering how to calculate what the actual serving size is...

I am so very sorry for all of your losses...so close together too. Praying right now for God to be so close to you and bring you peace as only He can do. I know how grief can do this when my dad died. I think food is used for comfort many times and then it can get to the point of taking a toll on how we feel if eating too…
