Some say that when you plateau or find yourself stuck, going dairy free for a week or two will jumpstart you again. Or adding in intermittent fasting also.

Even if you would chose Keto, you still want to watch calorie parameters. :) CICO = Calories in Calories out hand in hand with keto if that is how you decide to go.

I have Little House on the Prairie cookbook that I got when I was in maybe 5th grade. It has recipes for the foods referred to in the books.

Also i manage to stay in my calories but have failed at my protein so I want to back to keeping my protein met. 45.9 down since March. I would like to see another 50…

I am cold most of the time. I used to be cold natured when I was younger, then I had kids, gained weight and was rarely cold. Now I am under a blanket at home most evenings and at work sometimes I am so cold I can't think about anything else. I saw the previous suggestion to monitor my fat intake, but that doesn't seem to…

When I go to all you can eat I track by the rolls. The place we go,you order and they bring it to the table. It really depends on what you order. I can eat to my heart's content and walk out with under 800 calories but I eat a lost of sashimi and avoid rolls with sauces and fried things. At home I usually just make…

I was just telling my husband this weekend that on the rare occasions where I have a craving, when I finally have whatever I craved, it just doesn't taste as good. Maybe I build it up in my mind, maybe it is the hypnotist sessions I have used for weightloss, maybe my taste buds are changing. The old things just aren't as…

Just as an aside, I also make slow cooker meals by prepping 5 or 6 at a time and freezing them. Then I can pull a bag out of the freezer to drop in on my way out the door. In less than an hour I can usually make a week's worth of meals. Also if you look online you can find conversion charts for oven to slow cooker and…

I buy the Zone Perfect. I like the chocolate peanut butter ones best. All of them I have tried are good, IMO. Of course that may just mean they aren't the best ones because they taste good. lol However I only use them when I am too busy to eat a meal or can't meet calories for the day.

I have ordered one and it should be here this week. I would be interested to see how it has worked for others.

I stopped making a pitcher of iced tea for home so I drink more water there. I keep an insulated tumbler on my desk at work and drink two full tumblers before lunch, fill it again at lunch, then empty it at least once before going home. Also I drink 8-16 ounces before working out and another 16 when I finish. Water with…

I have a mini eliptical under my desk and I do use it off and on throughout the day. It gets my heart pumping and gives a "glow". I don't see it as a huge calorie burn. 56 calories in 15 minutes from the calculator I have found. However it is worth it to keep me moving during the day.
