  • I feel ya. The longest I have spent on my bike so far is a 40 mile ride, and I was fine the first day, but when I repeated the 40 miles the second day I felt semi-sore on my behind afterwards. I have my eye on some gear, but have to put my money towards other priorities. I do keep a backpack with my work clothes,…
  • I'm a total noob when it comes to bike accessories. I don't use a helmet, padded shorts (or any cycling clothes for that matter), or any bike attachments such as water bottle holders, lights, etc. What accessories would you recommend for the bike itself. I don't like adding weighted accessories because I like to have the…
  • I keep up with traffic by jumping on the sidewalk between stop lights so I can go past all of them jammed up, and then jump back out when the street is more clear or moving. lol I probably spend 80% of my time on the sidewalk and have gotten my 7.5 mile commute down to being just 5 minutes slower than if I were to drive…
  • Why is that? I'm not part of any riding groups, but just wondered about the durability of (I would guess) a thin framed triathlon bike and their high dollar CF shoes that cost more than my bike alone.
  • Do you guys take your high dollar triathlon bikes with CF wheels out for street cruising, or just use them in races? I've read that you have to replace CF wheels as they fade from braking. How quick does it fade? I ride 150-200 miles a week with a lot of braking
  • Are you a hot chick, or just stating random facts?
  • You can add foods into the MFP database. Google the nutrient info for that food, and then when you go to log it, create a new food and input that data.
  • I'll take the rockhopper off your hands for an extremely discounted price
  • One of my friends rides her Ducati 899 Panigale all year round unless there is snow on the ground. She dailies it everyday and just completed a road trip from Ohio to Colorado on it. I actually have a lot of female biker friends, but none that put 30k miles a year on their bikes like this one. Pretty badass in my view
  • probably going the chinese equivalent. A lot of my friends in motorsports get them new for $150-180 and say they work just as well as the GoPros.
  • Fiber and protein keep me filled up between meals (or after). I can completely substitute dinner for a protein mixed berry smoothie made with whole milk and be too full to finish it.
  • I really need a GoPro. I have cars pull out in front of my path on my ride home everyday and I swerve around them, missing them within inches. I know one day I'm gonna nail one of them and flip over their car.
  • So what you are saying is..............if you drank everyday and just continued to retain the same amount of water weight, then you wouldn't even notice that you are retaining it and wouldn't have any fluctuations except rapid weight loss when you don't drink? Sounds too good to be true. Drink more! :dizzy:
  • I love neoclassical guitar shredding the most, but I find progressive metal such as The Faceless, or Born of Osirus, are amazing when it comes to a fast paced cycling cadence. And I find power metal such as Rhapsody (of Fire) gives me the perfect running rhythm for an 7-8mph pace with stints of faster paces thrown in. That…
  • Havn't read the comments, but I'm sure someone has stated it. Just work the calories from the alcohol into your diet. I always have room for at least 1 beer or a couple of ounces of scotch at the end of the day.............or beginning, depending on how I'm feeling ;)
  • I confess, that I ate nothing but dark chocolate for dinner last night. Lots of dark chocolate
  • Some of you guys have some awesome bikes. My road bike isn't an aero triathlon bike or anything, but its decently lightweight CF. (pics in my instagram posted in my profile description). I hope to buy both a new hard tail mountain bike and a dual suspension downhill bike after the winter. Gotta start saving up for…
  • Nope. I love to check myself out in the mirror as often as possible
  • Old men are just children at heart :)
  • I have a kid. I'm well aware of talc free baby powders :)
  • @stylistchicky , not sure how you missed it, but I mentioned baby powder in the very post that you quoted
  • Pubes do find their way in the funniest places. In the Marines, they would inspect our rooms weekly and a single body hair would cause the room to fail inspection. One time, they found a pube stuck like 5 feet up on a wall. God knows how it stuck there, but it was there in everyones faces once it was pointed out.
  • sooo...............porn?
  • Not really. I blow dry my entire body, whether hair or no hair. I just make sure to get all the moisture from the crevices of the groin and butt crack the most, though ;)
  • I blow dry myself after each shower, ESPECIALLY in the grown area. Helps dry me more than just a towel. I wanna make sure there is no moisture at all down there before I put on exercise or riding briefs. Even baby powder the area to help keep it dry and smelling decent.
  • One of my friends did crossfit for a few months before switching to the Nike Training app and adding weights as she progressed. She went from post preggo to athletic fit all in the same year. Makes me wanna try it, myself.
  • so............porn?
  • I confess that I knew it was gonna rain today and could have worn my riding clothes out of my apartment door, but instead wore my work clothes and stripped down to underwear at the metro station in the bus stop zone full of people to change into my riding clothes before my ride to work. (such a public exhibitionist)
  • @luvablesweetpea , who isn't?
  • Wish I had your problem of not being able to eat as little as 1300 calories. I never eat nearly enough to maintain or lose weight at a slower rate. I wish I had more to eat
