I prefer Diet Coke :) Although I hardly drink it any more! I used to have a small can of Sprite Zero every night. Now I pretty much only get a fizzy drink when I go to the little shop in town where they sell Cherry Diet Coke :)

A simple vegetable stirfry with tofu, and possibly with rice on the side if I can convince someone to share :)

I didn't eat for an entire week before my exam, did terribly in the exam, and lost my period :) Although I didn't really even want to get better after that, but I told my boyfriend I was struggling and he made me eat three meals a day until I was re-accepted into my treatment centre. It was pretty bad to be honest.

Once a week at the clinic I go to, working towards not weighing myself at all once I'm discharged :)

Talk to your doctor about it :) My usual blood pressure is 85/50, although I get so stressed going to the doctors that whenever they check it, it goes up to 120/80 and they think I'm perfectly normal... so I can never actually get diagnosed as having low blood pressure! Frustrating

I've been pre logging recently so I don't have an excuse to skip meals etc!

I'm vegan pretty much exclusively for animal rights and the environment, so health benefits aren't hugely important to me. I did, however, notice my skin and my digestion improved significantly on a plant based diet. I also used to get terrible tonsil stones (ew) and they completely cleared up after going vegan! It was a…

I love potato :) I love bread too, although white bread honestly isn't my favourite. Potato is pretty good for you, and it's delicious. You don't have to cook it in a way that adds lots of fat etc if you don't want to! :) I like some nice roasted potato, personally. Or mashed potatoes ;)

I'm on a weight gain diet where I'm eating ~2300-2400 daily. Not sure if that's what you're after as I won't be eating that amount forever, but feel free to add me :)

Sounds really good!

Pretty much everything in this topic to be honest! I don't really go to fast food places much anyway. I've only really been to the fast food places I have visited once or twice each. Except for McDonalds which my friends seem to go to all the time- although I pretty much just get a coffee or some chips! If I go out for…

Yep, I'm in eating disorder recovery so I was losing but will probably be gaining soon haha! Thanks :)
-
I just started a new weight gain plan from my dietitian and it seems to be 2300-2400 calories :astonished: Scary for me!
-
Hiya! I'm vegan, I'll add you :)

I find the WHO (World Health Organisation) has the best information as they carry out meta analyses of lots of different health related scientific articles. Doctors often have VERY little nutritional training. Nutritionists (in many countries) don't have to have formal nutrition training and can pretty much promote any…

I'm the same here. 30F boobs and they stayed F cup even while I was underweight. Painful, impossible to find bras for, and I don't even like the aesthetic! :( I just lose weight only from other areas. It makes no sense and I hate it so much.

I try to carry a muesli/date bar with me most of the time in case that happens :) If I didn't have that, I would probably grab some takeaway veggie sushi or a vegan salad with plenty of greens! For snacks out, I'd choose a small coffee made with soy milk. Going to the closest supermarket is also a good idea- some of them…

Definitely check it out with your doctor first though!

I find my NutriBullet works fine :) Although it might not be up to your smoothie standards if the Magic Bullet isn't good enough. I'm not sure what the power/efficiency difference between the two is!

I agree, that's why I mentioned that many people do consider it a negative instead of saying that I personally considered it a negative. I personally love how fruit tastes, and I know it wouldn't taste as good without the sugar :)
-
Ugh. I wish I could lose my boobs. When I lose weight, I tend to lose everywhere except my boobs... and I hate my chest so I wish it would just go away! :(
-
I drink almond milk in my coffee and use an almond coconut blend in my smoothies :) I honestly just prefer the taste over soy- although I always buy soy cappuccinos if I go out for coffee!
-
I get the same thing- it's a horrible feeling and I've had to cut out most refined sugars in my everyday life because of it. I also get blood sugar spikes and drops- potentially related?
-
I eat pretty high carb, pretty high fat, and pretty low protein and find gaining weight difficult- it's pretty much just all about the calories :)
-
Peanut butter and jam sandwiches on rye

I don't think anyone was saying sugar is evil :) No food is inherently "good" or "bad". Applying human morals to food is pointless and can lead to disordered eating. I just prefer to focus on the positives of food (yes, like fibre and nutrients) instead of the parts of food that many people consider negatives! :)
-
I wish there were an option to not show the calories, it would really help me and others with eating disorders
-
I eat lots of sugar from fruit, fruit has lots of fibre and nutrients and is great for you
-
I don't have any group suggestions but I'm an ethical vegan- feel free to add me! I would love to get back into yoga once I get further into eating disorder recovery too :)

I got my period back after losing it for months! No more calcium leaking from my bones for me
