The opposite happens with me because I smile a lot. I get comments like: "what's so funny?"; "why are you smiling?"; "Mr. Smiley"; etc.

Being unable to walk to my car without losing my breath. It got me to finally go to one of those weight loss clinics where they were unable to get a reading of my blood pressure because it was too high. They urged me to go to the hospital. Instead, stubbornly, I went to one of those emergency care places who also had…

I never understood why it's too difficult or confusing to do this... Easy peasy, no?

I take magnesium (200 mg) and D3 (2,000 IU). Vitamin D and magnesium deficiencies are the 2 most common deficiencies in developed countries (source).

America's Test Kitchen has the OXO Good Grips scale (11 lb. version) as it winner in their testing of digital kitchen scales. They note that they recently released an updated version and will be retesting it soon. Here it is on Amazon. I've been using mine for a couple years. Works great and have never had an issue. They…

I've been using the Bose SoundSport Pulse for over a year... they have fantastic sound and has a built-in heart rate monitor. They are expensive but worth it IMHO.

Yes, this^^^ I eat a lot of peanut powder (re-hydrated). For several years I would measure it by the tablespoon, packing in as much as possible and not caring if it was slightly rounded on the top. Well, I finally started to weigh it and realized I was eating almost twice as much as I thought. I always knew that I was…

I also log a week in advance. I meal plan on the day the grocery store circular comes out which has saved me a lot of money. The only unknowns I have are when I eat back exercise calories which usually ends up being a protein bar (i.e. a candy bar with protein).

The first place I look when I have a question about a supplement is Examine.com. They provide excellent summaries of most supplements. For CLA... https://examine.com/supplements/conjugated-linoleic-acid/ For Carnitine... https://examine.com/supplements/l-carnitine/ So, for fat loss? Not so much...

Examine.com has a write up on it. The headline... Lots more here: https://examine.com/supplements/hypericum-perforatum/

I asked a registered dietitian a couple years ago about artificial sweeteners and he told me there were no issues with them and they are perfectly fine. He mentioned that many studies even showed that they can be helpful in weight loss (i.e. if you replace regular sodas with artificially sweetened). Are you sure they were…

I find coconut water revolting. I won't repeat what I think it tastes like since I got warned by a moderator about what I wrote few months ago... Everyone has different tastes. I'm happy you found something you like.

$2 a bar?

Just tried the oatmeal chocolate chip flavor and am not getting that aftertaste this time. Maybe it was the white coating on the blueberry cobbler flavor. This was very tasty as well. I think these may be my go-to bars in the future.

I picked up a Redcon1 blueberry cobbler MRE bar from my local Vitamin Shoppe... haven't seen them before. I thought it was very tasty, had a nice coating and a little crunch. It contains sucralose, malitol (among others) and has that aftertaste similar to a Quest bar. So, if you aren't into them you probably won't like…

That was my first time using the cast iron pizza pan, works great! It was recommended by America’s Test Kitchen... Lodge P14P3 Seasoned Cast Iron Baking... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0000E2V3X?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf

I paired my pizza with a nice big salad and was happily full... it is a bit small but - portion control right? 😊 I can’t imagine just eating half though (1 serving).

I tried the new Quest pizza for dinner. I think most people will not like the crust... was a bit cardboard like but not that bad, reminded me of a Domino’s gluten-free crust (but thinner and drier). The pepperoni was good, and enough of them, sauce was pretty good, cheese was nondescript. I would love to hear what other…

I'm eating mine tonight, will be sure to post!

Agree with the above, seek a "Registered Dietitian", not a nutritionist.

It looks like their zucchini noodles are now available everywhere!!! I was waiting for this and didn't realize it had finally rolled out to all of their locations. It looks like the pork adobo is 410 calories for a small with the zoodles (590 for regular size). I am going to have to plan a trip soon!

I picked one up from my local Target this past weekend. I am planning on eating it this Friday. I will be sure to take a picture and post a review!

I use a similar product, works great... hardly any unpopped kernels and never have an issue with burning! To get salt or other seasonings to stick I spray a little vinegar or sometimes water. My favorite is to mix a touch of water, some liquid sucralose, and vanilla... tastes just like kettle corn.

Because of the ice crystals it looks like what happens when it melts and then is refrozen... was the texture gritty? I always squeeze the containers to check to see if they are full or not :)

I should add that their meals are already cooked, just need to be reheated. So, may not be what you are looking for.

I've been very happy with Territory Foods, been using them for 2+ years. They are not everywhere, only in DC metro, Dallas-Ft. Worth, San Francisco bay area, and southern California. I like to cook, but not every night so I get 3 dinners a week from them (plus 3 lunches).

I took Accutane in my early 20's... I did experience the mood swings which were a side effect but didn't tell anyone because it was working so well. It is some powerful stuff so am curious what long-term effects it has had as well. 20+ years later and I rarely get a pimple.

@glassyo thank you!!!

Has anyone tried one yet? Any idea of the full nutritional information? (Target's website doesn't show the label)
