I also tried the new Quest peanut butter cups... I enjoyed these! Chocolate was a bit snappier than a Reese’s (like it is tempered, not as soft)... peanut butter flavor slightly milder.

I’ve had the lemon cake Quest bars several times... liked them a lot. They have a nice mild lemon flavor and has bits of “cake” interspersed throughout (similar to the blueberry muffin flavor). If you like Questbars I think you’d like them!

Check out the Volume Eaters Thread for lot's of ideas... https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10563959/volume-eaters-thread

They are okay... not crunchy, on the soft side (moist from the fat), also slightly crumbly. I like their regular cookies better.

There is supposedly a genetic component to caffeine sensitivity... I know a lot of this research around genes is still in its infancy, so take that with a grain of salt. Here's the full article: https://www.healthline.com/health/caffeine-sensitivity When I submitted my DNA to determine my haplogroup you could also purchase…

Bumping the original volume eating thread...

I've shared my story on these boards before (here and here). I've learned more about myself since those posts and think it may be pertinent to this discussion... I lost almost 250 pounds after suffering heart failure in 2015 and have been maintaining the loss for almost 2 1/2 years now. I was extremely obsessive about…

Make sure it has some casein protein in it (at least in part)... works the best!

I'm still going to my gym and Pilates studio... I got pink eye a couple years ago, so since then I've been very good at washing my hands/wiping down equipment/not rubbing eyes/etc. I was a bit surprised with how packed it was the other day (I was expecting it to slow down)... no slow down around here yet!

Yes, I like them a lot - nice and crunchy, packed with flavor, high fiber and a good source of some protein. I mentioned some of the new flavors I tried up thread. They have a store locator on their website or you can purchase them online and have them shipped. edit: was way up thread, here's a link to make it easier…

I will check it out! I buy at least 12 protein bars/snacks a week from my local Vitamin Shoppe for my breakfasts and afternoon coffees. I usually go for whatever is on sale  I really LOVE the new Outright bars, especially the banana walnut peanut butter flavor (290 cal, 17g protein). However, they’ve been sold out…

I've been loving rutabaga recently as well... so tasty - has a slight sweetness. I just roast it with a little olive oil and salt/pepper. Do you add any other herbs or spices?
-
I’ve tried a few of the flavors of these... really enjoyed the peanut butter (just bought 2 today for breakfasts this week).
-
Agreed, fit is good and they never fall out... sound quality is great. I also have the version that has a built in heart rate monitor.
-
I have liked almost every protein bar I have ever tried, except No Cow. Not a fan! However, their lemon meringue flavor is OK.

About 250 pounds and have been maintaining for 2 1/2 years.

Sweet Sriracha has been my favorite, but agreed, they are all good. They also have larger resealable bags which contain about 3 servings that I have been known to nosh in one sitting! I recently ordered their "Game Day Box" that has a few of their new flavors: Jalapeño Popper; Buffalo Wing; and Nacho Cheeze. All were good…

Examine doesn’t test brands... think the website he is thinking of is https://labdoor.com/

I am not sure plant protein works for fluff... I think casein is required (doesn't have to be 100%, protein powders that have a mix of it and whey also work - like Quest).

@PAV8888 is right, I honestly don't know. All my previous attempts at losing weight failed. I think there were 2 things that played the biggest role in my success this time. My OCD and the heart failure I suffered in 2015. My therapist thinks I developed OCD because of my mom's long, and ultimately unsuccessful, battle…

I am one of those people that @AnnPT77 eluded to that counted calories obsessively. I use to pre-log all of my meals a week in advance and would never stray from what I logged. I have an eating disorder and OCD for which I have been seeing a psychologist weekly for almost 8 months now. My calorie-counting obsessiveness was…

Here’s my favorites... 1. Almond Bliss 2. Birthday Cake 3. Blueberry Cobbler 4. Maple Glazed Doughnut

My favorites are Blueberry Muffin, Birthday Cake, and their newest flavor, Caramel Chocolate Chunk.

Examine.com has a lengthy article on how much protein you "need" here: https://examine.com/nutrition/how-much-protein-do-you-need/ They also have a handy calculator: https://examine.com/nutrition/protein-intake-calculator/

I should add that your libido can also suffer if you under eat. I lost about 250 pounds. There was a time near the end of my weight loss when I had no libido. I had no interest in sex - it didn't even cross my mind. I had been under eating for months. In addition to having no libido, I had hair loss, brittle nails, was…

I've tried the following. It seems I like everything, so not sure if I would place any weight on these! Black Cherry Chocolate Chip: nice cherry flavor, good amount of chocolate chips and a few cherries (could use more). Similar to Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia. Strawberry Cheesecake: nice strawberry swirls, ice…

So, I FINALLY ordered several flavors of Enlightened from icecreamsource.com. They arrived solid as a rock and full, definitely better than what you get in store! Thanks for the recommendation @hgycta One weird thing though... they arrived completed solid and full (I could tell by squeezing the containers). However, after…

I can understand people wanting a Lucky Charms cereal sneaker but not sure why anyone would want Cinnamon Toast Crunch!

Happy Baby (edit: missed the moderate/hard caveat - this one isn't that!)

Got it from Harris Teeter... they had other flavors too (“after dinner mint chip”, “cookies ‘n dreams”, “milk & cookie dough”, “cold brew decaf”). I will try some others next weekend.
