I have what looks exactly like that microwave popper but the brand is HOTPOP - works great. I find that dry seasonings/salt don't stick very well so I usually mist some water or vinegar on the popped corn to help them adhere. My favorite is to mist a tiny bit of water, vanilla, and a few drops of liquid sucralose and…

I understand the OPs frustration with the advice. I eat a lot of vegetables (hardly any fruit, usually just apples) and I usually get over 35g of fiber a day easily and sometimes get 50g or more. I took a look at my MFP fiber report over the last 90 days and the biggest contributors for me were popcorn, peanut powder (e.g.…

Yes, I also tend to urinate a lot... may be related to weight loss but also, being a man getting older, could just be related to the prostate enlarging (see here). When you went to see the doctor did they mention any potential causes?
-
Sucks about the potential banning... I appreciate you and your comments!

Almost me as well, I log a week in advance and make small adjustments as I go. However, I don't pre-log anything with regard to exercise calories. Those calories are used for treats/rewards after my exercise.

Enlightened has a line of broad bean crisps (Bada Bean Snacks). An entire bag is about 300 calories, has 15g fiber, and 21g protein. They are very tasty and crunchy - their sriracha flavor is my favorite.

I think I'm going to give this a try... so you use no sweetener (sans the chocolate chips)? Does the peanut powder you use have added sugar (I think PB2 has a little)? I guess I could add a dew drops of sucralose.

For further confirmation, annual reports of publicly-traded companies are required to describe their properties. Here it is from Planet Fitness... I also did a quick search in LexisNexis for businesses containing the name of "planet fitness" in the UK and found 7 results. There are probably more but appears to be a…

This has been a frustration of mine. Why can't us Americans move to the better method of weighing (and using the metric system)? I did a quick search and saw a helpful conversion chart from King Arthur Flour. They say 1 cup of all-purpose unbleached flour is 120 grams. The chart has a lot of other ingredients as well.…

I had a similar experience. I lost my first 100 lbs. with my diet alone and then started exercising. When I started out my doctors advised me to be careful with exercising because they were worried I would cause permanent damage to my knees (even walking - I was THAT big). They suggested water aerobics. That didn't happen…

Agreed, also a premium user here. I got premium for the ad-free experience and also to have more control of my macros. Not sure how premium will help with your stalled weight loss. Start here instead...

^^^This... if you are set on seeing someone be sure they are a registered dietitian.

The minimum in MFP is 1,500 net calories a day for men. So, you should be eating more than 1,000 on the days you are not walking and even more on the days you exercise. MFP is designed for you to eat back your exercise calories.

Yeah, they are probably doing some kind of phased process. I do have the fields in the food add function (see image in post above)... I have premium so maybe that has something to do with it?

I have it... RE: potassium... I was not referring to the app but the new labels. It will be required in the new labeling (and no longer require vitamin A & C).
-
I use the iPhone app and have premium...
-
I've seen the new labels on a few products recently. They've also added potassium and Vitamin D (no more Vitamin A and C). The MFP database now has those fields included (in the app). Looked up the new compliance date...

I own this one... works great. It was also the winner of America's Test Kitchen's digital kitchen scales test. Edit: their winner was the 11-pound version

This is definitely true in my case. I avoid places that do not have nutritional information available.
-
That's about where I am at... my last long walk was 1752 steps/mile. I'm 6',

I’m going to give that frappuccino a try! I actually use SucraDrops that I get off Amazon... liquid Splenda is sooo expensive!
-
Love the frappuccino idea! I drink a lot’s iced coffee, will definitely give it a try... I’m guessing you blend it all with ice?

I think most of the liquid artificial sweeteners are actually zero calorie because they don't have the bulking agents. Liquid sucralose (i.e. liquid Splenda) is my sweetener of choice.
-
Yeah, noticed this as well, happened recently... Vitamin D was also added.
-
That's me... think they call it "white coat syndrome". The wrist units are the least accurate!
-
Count me in on the liquid sucralose bandwagon. I also order mine on Amazon because the stuff available at the supermarket (liquid Splenda) is pretty expensive.

The Monterey Bay Aquarium has an app called “Seafood Watch” which is a great tool in guiding what type of fish to buy with regards to over-fishing and other environmental concerns. Highly recommend!
-
I love a big bowl of air-popped popcorn which I mist with water/vanilla/sucralose and a dusting of Flavacol.
-
Beat me!

No, not in premium.
