  • Archer's buddy who also shows up here is a Great Pyrenees as well - still a pup and half the size of Archer but he has that mottled brown color on his nose and tail...so cute! I'm kind excited, in a way that Miyuki is pregnant because we are pretty sure Archer is the dad...they will be GORGEOUS dogs and full Pyrenees so I…
  • @nvmomketo - look at that face...you can only be mad for a minute. He and his little buddy are such sweethearts that I am a sucker for them for sure. I love dogs too, which helps. When he jumped down he broke that photo frame too...now I've got to replace it.
  • @anglyn1 that's the plan - to take her this evening after school and have a blast!
  • I love seeing people in happy and silly moods! Makes my mood better!! You started it! You better come up with a phrase with H in it and start saving for that Keurig you are going to send me when I win! :D :D Can you tell what I want for Christmas?

  • Today is Shayla's birthday. She's my youngest and 12 today. Dinner on birthdays is always what the birthday person wants - A Hershey Cake and Mac and Cheese casserole. She's not LCHF, can you tell? I bought her clothes for her birthday and for Christmas and as is tradition I let her open one gift early last night at dinner…
  • Mwhahaha.... This.
  • So I tried to make Fathead using only coconut flour (that's all I had on hand)...it was really dry and grainy. It seems like you'd need about 1/3 the coconut flour as compared to the almond.
  • I can't help you with the tester but wanted to say hi and welcome to the group! You will love it here!!
  • Had to share. This just happened. He's not my dog. He belongs to the neighbor (about 3 miles away). He's been coming here for a couple of months now. I heard a terrible noise and got up to investigate. I found him like this but with a bag of Christmas candy in his mouth. I had the hardest time getting him down - damn…
  • Well they really aren't meant to be pets however, we rescued Koujo and he's so acclimated to our dogs that he'd be killed in the wild. Koujo doesn't like people he doesn't know at all. One game day we brought him in and when I walked through the dining room with him where the other people were he scratched the *kitten* out…
  • Hi there and welcome aboard. This is exactly the place for support! You found an amazing group of people with tons of knowledge. Check out the launch pad at the top and feel free to ask questions! Feel free to add me as a friend if you'd like. I find myself not logging my food as much as I used to log it (usually the…
  • Pixel when he was just a pup with Koujo. We also have a younger raccoon, Benji. He's not as nice as Koujo which is funny because we chose to name him Benji because Benji was a wonderful, lovable TV dog while Cujo was a terror dog. Skit - he was a stray that was hit and I saved him and had to have his leg amputated. Willow…
  • Yep Cheat with refined sugars/high carbs makes me SICK!
  • So for the first time I tried a spatchcocked turkey. Really nice especially if you have a large bird. It take a minute and some muscles to get the backbone out but once you do it's easy to break the breast bone. Lay that sucker out and roast at half the time and there is SO much more crispy skin! It's also juicy compared…
  • So, speaking of hungry days...it seems any day I wake up really early, like today (0400) I STARVE all day long no matter what I do for breakfast including my BPC. I think I'm headed off to make another.
  • looks wonderful!
  • Happy Friday. I did ok yesterday. I ate a couple Hershey Kisses, a half slice of garlic toast and a chocolate pie that was keto but I put in a graham crust. I have no idea what I ate macro wise but considering what I would have eaten this time last year I have NO complaints. I don't feel bad today but woke up ravenous! I…
  • Yep....this for sure.
  • Unless you tend to eat out of habit. Which is a very hard habit to break. I still struggle with it some days and if there isn't an acceptable snack in the house on habit eating days then I may "eat the things" which is no good so having snacks available is important here.
  • I made sausage balls to snack on...Sausage, a little sauteed onion, salt, pepper, an egg and some ground pork rinds to bind and sharp cheddar cheese. Those puppies are going into the oven soon!
  • :D That was very @KenSmith108 of you... @cstehansen
  • Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! ps Rowdy finally shot a deer today! Yay!! He's extra thankful today
  • How about when talking about terrible breath and stinky pee makes us happy?
  • Awesome success! I'm on the cusp at 208. Can't wait to hit it! Welcome to the forum!!
  • I wasn't doing that at first...allowing it to balance out but I am now and seem to be fine. Before - I would starve on those days and grumble at my new WOE. Now, it all works out in the wash
  • This. Every. Single. Word.
