I looked through your diary, here are my suggestions. 1. Experiment with these macros Training Days Carbs: 360g from (Fruits, Oats, Potatoes, Quinoa, Beans, Rices, if you have digestion issues with any of them let me know and I'll tell you how to fix them) Protein: 180gs mainly from organically farmed grassfed animals. Add…

1. Congrats at reaching your new low weight and being 7lbs away from your goal weight. 2. If you're not taking weekly pictures, I'd recommend doing so (a lot of people like Sunday mornings) this will give you a method of visually seeing your progress. When you see yourself everyday it's harder to see the changes. I've…

1. I generally have a "Super Food" shake for breakfast to start the day off on a very nutrient dense meal, consisting of various fruits, vegetables, spirulina, chia seeds, goji berries, oats, flax, nuts, cacao, honey, bee pollen, various high quality protein powders, etc. I'm a health nut but also an extreme foodie, so I…

Congrats on having a plan. With a few tweaks you'll be on the road to gaining muscle. In a nut shell your protein intake is too low to build much if any lean muscle mass. 1. Precision Nutrition has an excellent post on designing a meal. It's called "The best calorie control guide" and comes with an infographic. If you…

Great advice in this thread. I recommend taking pictures every week at the same time, Sunday mornings seem to work best for a lot of people. If you must, weigh yourself again the last Sunday of every quarter. You'll see a lot more progress this way and avoid that terrible scale weighing cycle.

Happy to help you out. List out what you eat exactly in a given day (I know there will be variation). List out the weights, sets and reps used for the following lifts/variations Deadlift/Squat/Bench

What are you eating in a typical day? I can help you design a routine. Do you have any access to weights? Kettlebells, backpack with books? Rocks, tires, resistance bands? Pull up bar?

Good luck with your finals, my friends are going through them as well...hopefully you get more sleep than they do. Sounds like you have a nice gym. What's your exercise history like? What sorts of activities do you like? I'd recommend a mix of weight training and aerobic style workouts. Here's an example Monday: Weights…

Congratulations on your choice. I've found that when people get to the "tired" of this place, tremendous changes follow.

Congrats on starting and welcome to the forums! Support is an important part of the weight-loss journey, this forum will definitely offer you that. I have some friends that are in nursing school and some that work as nurses, they talk about that snacking situation all the time. The good news is you can bring in healthy…

I wouldn't worry about the eggs raising your cholesterol http://www.precisionnutrition.com/research-review-cholesterol-eggs A protein shake won't provide you with the same nutrient quality as real food. I understand the convenience. The highest quality powders will come at a high price and come from organically farmed…
