  • Good luck everyone! Hopefully these groups will get more active and provide support. I'm going back to CarbManager!!
  • Congrats on the 6lbs FishyK!!!! My start date was Jan 6 - I'm down 2.5lbs so far. Ended up doing at least 16:8 M-F last week. Will be doing 6 days of (at least) 16:8 this week (Sat morn breakfast place not the greatest so why waste the cals).

  • My Sole treadmill was just over $1300 but was one of their mid range ones - so they might have an under $1K. I've had it for at least 4 years and have absolutely no complaints about it.
  • I've been following WW (but old Points Plus plan not Freestyle) since the end of January - I'm using iTrackBites to track (they have plans similar to WW new and older plans) my points. It was free when I joined but they are now charging a yearly fee - think it's somewhere in the $30something range but don't know for sure…
  • I've used various activity trackers (started w/BodyMedia Fit after that it was different Garmin or Fitbit devices - currently using Fitbit Blaze) since starting maintenance 7+ yrs ago and found all of them to be reasonable accurate for my calorie burn UNTIL I started major peri symptoms 3+ yrs ago.
  • I've had various fitness trackers over the past 7+ yrs and Fitbit is my 2nd favorite brand (1st favorite was my first one and no longer available). I am currently using the Blaze. I found the calorie burns to be accurate for me until I entered full symptom peri (3+ yrs ago). Much like the forklift driver all devices I've…
  • My 5am started activities/workouts are showing up on as being started at 9pm on the previous day (first noticed on 10/16 - went back to using my Vivosmart HR+ that day). Even my ~9am GPS workout showed the wrong time (~12am on correct day). Move IQ and steps are showing up on the correct day/time. My Garmin is showing the…
  • I'm not having a problem syncing but my started activities/workouts aren't showing up on the correct day (5am workouts show up as being done at 9pm on previous day). A facebook "friend" is getting multiple notifications for challenges -- so maybe Garmin is just having issues all around.
  • Did you ever get it to work Daniel? I recently came back to MFP because I'm using a Garmin again and noticed the same thing going on - Garmin Connect getting food cals from MFP but MFP was only getting workout info/cals from Garmin Connect. After some playing around in the iOS app version of MFP (I generally use the…
  • Well other than the age thing (my youngest is years older than you) we seem to have similar lifestyles - the majority of my calorie burn/activity comes from farm work (do exercise 5-6x/week but that is more for my health - it's an age thing) and (not for $$ reasons) I don't spend alot of money at the grocery store…
  • CONGRATS!!!!! I'm hitting the 5 year mark Monday and still log regularly/almost daily.
  • I have no experience w/the Garmin Vivosmart HR (I have the Fitbit Charge HR. I do have experience w/Garmin (gps running watches and also had the Vivofit) and I'd JUMP on the chance to get a Vivosmart HR for 50% off! Heck I'm thinking about buying one for full price and I already have the Charge HR. :-)
  • That is one of my biggest fears (going from active to inactive) even though I am much better about my food when I'm inactive (ie during sickness or injury). In fact most of my weight loss (only talking lb here, lb there after maintenance) has came during those times and I gain them back once I return to my normal activity.…
