I go to karate twice a week that starts immediately after I get off work, and I also go to the gym right after work another day. I personally don't like to workout after eating a meal, I may eat something small like a granola bar to tide me over after work, but my dinner is after my workout is done. It just works better…

I also have very bad knees that only surgery can actually fix. I use the weight machines at the gym for my leg day as squats and lunches hurt my knees way too much to be helping me. I have made egg muffins, which is basically scrambled eggs baked in muffin tins and frozen individually. I walk every day for at least a half hour, but usually longer. Then I have karate twice a week and practice other times as well when my schedule allows. I use weight machines twice a week. Do what is best for you.

If you are trying to lose weight just make sure you eat less calories than you burn. If you follow this you will be great. Of course, eating healthy foods helps too, but really it is all down to calories. And welcome!
