There are plenty of sensory friendly clothing options that can be worn in public. Disabilities mean that you have different challenges not that you can't do things. Dance in place between your bodyweight exercises, no jumping, no leaving your house and you can control the intensity.

Planning ahead is really helpful. Prepare everything you can on a day off or a less busy night, it sucks losing that down time but you more than make up for it by having more time/less stress during the week! Egg muffins are great, I find they are still good on Thursday, haven't had any left for Fridays. For lunches I make chicken and rice bowls, they last easily until Friday. I change them up with Mexican, Thai, or whatever flavors I want that week. They also freeze and reheat well.

I do it right after work as part of my going home routine. I tried working out in the morning but I found that having to go to bed early enough to do so wasn't working for me or my family.
