@SezxyStef Thank you. I think I'll just do that to alleviate the issue.

@heybales I'm sorry I wasn't more specific. Let me see if I can describe what I'm seeing more clearly. I finished my walk yesterday. 2.33 miles in just under 43 minutes. MMW said that I burned 407 calories. When I logged into MFP app after my walk, I saw that it was crediting me with both the 407 calories from MMW and 328…

When people try to talk to me while I'm on the phone with someone. I want to KILL!

Thanks for your reply. I hadn't clicked on the first week being higher calories. I think that I'm being pretty accurate about the calorie counts, at least this week, as I've been much better about weighing/measuring everything and scanning packages instead of just searching the database. I suppose it is possible that my…

I was eating back some of them but mostly not all of them. I've read such mixed info about eating back that I wasn't really sure what to do or if my calories burned were accurate. That may be a good portion of where the problem lies, along with caffeine and sugar. I'm going to give the adjustments a few days, add in an…

Yes. I'd like to be able to do that but my new job doesn't allow time off for the first 90 days. I can always hit up the Urgent Care if it gets too bad though.

Less diet soda at night because I've been drinking more water. I was drinking A LOT of diet pepsi from after work until bed before I got my water in line. Sugar has been mostly from fruits and such instead of added sugars which is a change as well. I considered these things too.

Adjusted my program tonight. I've been having horrible headaches at the end of my work day and I think dropping my calories so drastically is the culprit. I'm going to try to adjust them downward slowly and see if that helps my body adjust. I also think it could be because I've sort of suddenly cut off processed things and…

I go by the calories on MFP. I only use the Fitbit to track steps and also my heart rate when I'm doing something more than walking.

I was wondering that myself. This is a pretty high calorie shake, so I'm thinking about switching it to something lower cal next week that will allow for something solid as well. I'm still experimenting with all of this!

I'd like to try. I could use the extra motivation!

Happy birthday!!!! Sounds like you know what you need to do. I wish you much luck in your journey. Feel free to add me if you'd like. I hope you enjoy your day!!! :)

That's great! My A1C was 6.4 when I was at the Dr. last. They have me on metformin as I guess I'm pre-diabetic now. That's why I'm trying to get healthy. Keep going!!!!

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/diary/smc92079 This thread is a great idea. I've been consistently logging for about two weeks now, even though I've had an account for years. I used to use SparkPeople religiously, but I decided to give this a go. My short term goal is to get to under 200lbs (I'm at 238.8 as of yesterday…

Yeah, I tried that. It's a place with only two locations. No nutrition info on their website.

Haha! If I didn't have to drive that would totally be my choice. :)

I went to Albany Law. I'm from Albany and I'm probably never leaving, so it was really my only option!

I've been doing Chobani and granola for breakfast. I think next week I'm going to try rotating some overnight oats and smoothies with a hard boiled egg for breakfast. The lunch thing has been sandwiches, but since I talked to my bf last night about really wanting to do this right, he made me a lunch today and weighed and…

@thewindandthework what sorts of meals are you making? I'm thinking about at least prepping lunches on the weekends, and I am trying to get all the ideas I can.

I am in a desk job too. I went from being in an office where I was moving around fairly often to a new job where I sit all the time. I adjusted my program last night because of it and I'm a little freaked out about the fact that I have about 300 less kcal a day now. But, that just means I have to make better choices,…
