Congratulations on your 10lb weight loss in a month. Eating back those calories which was burned doing exercises has never worked for me. If I eat back those calories MFP calculated, I easily gain the weight that I had lost within no time.

I drink a tablespoon of Bragg's AVC in a glass of water to prevent kidney stones daily. I am prone to getting kidney stones and ACV is the only thing that helps in dissolving stones as soon as I get an attack. It has never helped with weight loss or anything else.

Try the GM diet, it will definitely help to lose weight fast. Basically this is a low carb and calorie deficit diet which truly helped me. Google for more info on that. I tried so hard exercising and eating under my calorie goal, still struggled to lose weight. GM diet kick started my initial weight loss.

I too find it hard to lose the last 5 lbs. Must be my age, I am 48 years old. I have noticed that I lose weight only if I stay under 1000 calories, or else weight just creeps up. I do cardio 6 days a week, as well as strength training 3 to 4 times a week. Strength training has helped me tone up my hips, arms and tummy area.
