  • According to google the acid in the under side of the peel on some moles will remove it... the more you know.
  • SW-161.0lbs(April 1st) July Goal weight down 20lbs Current weight 154.2lbs April 31st goal is down 7lbs from SW.
  • So to fix this learn to make 7-8 soups that are very different and can them in Mason jars. I make soups for part of my weightloss cycle and I make them low sodium because it's cheaper and more satisfying than store bought. My dad who is 60's and loves salt+ sugar has no clue my soups are low sodium and eats them. I do egg…
  • Not fighting for my life when I walk up a hill for starters. Catching my breath after running across a street quickly. Being able to walk 5 miles a day. 30 legitimate push ups per day, 30 weighted squats per day and 30 donkey kicks. I consider that "fit". To be fit and healthy though I must also have a decent diet and…
  • I think that a lot of people want instant gratification and by setting more short term goals you can help the majority get more feel good boosts to inch closer to that pie in the sky long term goal. Trainers and fitness friends have seen many people give up when the 6pk isn't there by day 90. While you're point of view is…
  • Also this is going to be a TMI bit but relevant: Many people forget how you weigh in matters. I weigh in my birthday suit every morning on mornings I'm able to go number 2 after drinking an energy shot equivalent to 5hour energy. Why because as my husband says "I can #2 5lbs" if your empty when weighing 1 day but full up…
  • My journey is different every time. Alcohol and sodium both cause major water retention that will effect your weigh ins. I lower my sodium and remove alcohol so I don't have as many weigh in up down spikes. I also have the same weekly exercise routine and daily water goals. By keeping your weeks very similarly mapped out…
  • I struggle with depression that I can't use anti depressants for. I've learned a few things. 1. Lay in the sun or sit outside for 1-2 hours even if your in frumpy clothes. 2. Track your calories for at least 1 week without a deficit and cut down reasonably. If you're eating say 3,000 calories and go to 1200 your depression…
  • I don't give AF what a B got to say about me. I know what TF I did or didn't do. Is essentially what it means.
  • -Any daily use w/ mind or mood altering substances or drink. -Can't hold long term friendships. -gossips about people close to them. -Always the victim. -Needs continous financial support from family or friends. -Speaking poorly of ex's or family regularly. -Thirst trapping -Emotionally distant -claims to be something…
  • In 2019 I was 130lbs which was my best weight and started this journey at 161.0lbs. I'm down 6lbs but I don't put on weight gracefully so that 31lbs was far more noticable on me than most. My first 3 weeks there was no scale movement. Now I'm down 6lbs in 22days and steady declining. I gained weight post surgery and…
  • Peeled or unpeeled?
  • That should work. I personally charted 2 weeks of non diet eating and then cut my calories to 1720 from about 3,000. Then I started walking much faster and reaching 10,000 steps per day. In my case I've lost 5lbs in the last 21 days. Everyone is different but ½ per week is going to get you 2-3 lbs a month which is healthy…
  • 16,301 steps so far. I carried some groceries for part of it and all of it was speed walking.
  • You haven't ruined your progress by gaining some back. I'm sorry for your losses and the fact that you're going through that during a world wide pandemic that is also an economic depression. Your motivation will come and go during grief storms, be as kind to yourself as you would be a loved one in your shoes. If you're…
  • So when I add a new type of exercise my weight goes up or plateaus for 2 weeks. Then suddenly I lose around 2lbs and my weightloss goes back to being steady. Here's the thing though 7lbs per month is a lot if you're not really overweight. I'm 155lbs 5'5" and very active and struggle to lose anything over 5lbs per month.…
  • My scale and most electric show 2 seperate weights if you get on and step off twice. The second weight is more acurate than the first weight and most manuals tell you to step on part weight and step off then let the scale hit zero before fully stepping on. In doing this assuming you're on flat hard flooring you'll get more…
  • I walk at least 5 miles a day and my daily food allowance is 1720. I find it kind of difficult to stay within this.
  • This might sound odd but try changing your scale batteries and weigh something a different weight than you. Sometimes low batteries in a scale cause it to stay on the same number.
  • I've tried eating them back and I plateau or lose .5 lbs a week vs the 2lbs I'd like. While you're trying to lose weight I wouldn't. Also the calories are not accurate on MFP they're over estimated.
  • I wear the correct shoes and haul butt through my 5 mile walk. I don't stop and bring a bunch of stuff that interrupts buisness.... if I die, I die. I find stops enable quitting for me personally. Listen to loud music. I walk through my community and the park.
  • I built up to 5miles a day after health problems that were serious and I am proudest of the begining when it was .25 miles a day because I didn't give up. You're doing amazing and I love your hard work! We see you, keep going you amazing person.
  • 5.3 miles at a very fast pace over 3 seperate walks.
  • Absolutly not. I was stuck in a feedback loop because I used too. Not I custom log exercise as 1calorie burn. I lose weight at a reasonable steady weight.
  • 10,000 steps is 5miles. How many miles did you walk? A lot of step counters are wildly inaccurate tbh. If you something like 17miles that's not feasible daily. I walk 5miles a day, do some lifting(nothing serious) and eat well... it's worth it and sustainable but walking more is not.
  • Start weight (This time) 147.0lbs Current weight 143.6lbs Goal weight 128.0lbs I'm 5'5"
  • Drinking water w/ a small amount of baking soda maybe a 1/2 cup pre workout might help the reflux issue. If you haven't stop eating peanutbutter(really all nut products) and BBQ everything. Removing those 2 things finally got my dads acid reflux in check. Those were definitely some of the worst foods in our house. I would…
  • You can't "target fat reduction". However you can make your thighs a lot more muscular which will reduce the fat so I recommend leg and glute exercises while maintaining calorie counting.
