I don't think that's a great idea. It's pretty easy to go over calorie goals if you've been deprived. Especially if you can justify it as "your one meal of the day".

From being close to people with bad relationships with food, I can definitely say that you will lose weight (mostly muscle, from what I've heard) on very little calories.

Witness opinion - It's an excellent tool, especially when used in conjunction with logging food and somewhat following macros. Extra emphasis on the word "tool". :)

- get a digital food scale. Attempt to Weigh EVERYTHING - cross check information from the MFP database and the nutritional information on the package, or a reputable source - only eat back 70% -50% of calories from workouts. MFP tends to overestimate calorie burns Best of luck!
