I used to be a carb junkie and now I never eat them. It's rough at first but eventually those cravings go away. I've lost 52 pounds since May by cutting calories, cutting carbs and running/jogging. Good luck on your journey.

22 as of yesterday. I've started weight training too and my legs feel like I've been riding a horse, bareback. I'll try to get a run in tonight though.

I used WW several years ago and never lost an ounce and I went to meetings every week to weigh in. I got MFP in April and I'm down 48.8 pounds!! Way better here.....especially if you build a friend base to cheer you on!

The trick to beating sweets is to force yourself to not eat them, cut out most other carbs too and you will (believe it or it) stop craving them. 2 more miles today. That only gets me to 8 miles for the month but I'm working on it. If I get to 60-70 by the end of the month, I'll feel like I've achieved my goal.
