I've always put in my workout first thing, and have never enjoyed the feeling of doing so with anything more than water on my gut. Have you thought about simple energy work to give you a little stimulation? I enjoy qigong and tai-chi. My routine is pretty regimented, I got up, put on a pot of coffee, fill up my water…

I tell my wife how incredibly heart healthy onions are, to no avail haha. She detests them, but enjoys the flavor they impart, so just pushes them to the side, but hey, more for me!

@GaleHawkins absolutely, onions and garlic are both cornerstones in nearly everything I cook. The benefits are amazing for something so simple, and since I enjoy eating them so much, all the better! A great resource for info on all kinds of benefits from different plants, and some interesting history on them as well, is a…

Blend, let sit in the fridge for about 10 minutes to allow the chia seed to gel and keep the ice from watering it down and BAM,…

I'm doing a variant of tai chi that I found on YouTube that doesn't require much articulation of the legs, and it's at least helping with my balance, so…

We don't really eat out much at all, our only forms of "going out" are bbq with friends where I do the cooking, or at the local tavern, where we go to be social, my wife has only ever seen me intoxicated twice, just don't care for how it feels, in the moment or the morning after haha. Our main sources of protein are…
