Hello, I've sent a friend request. I'm having a break from SW after 12 months on it. Have lost 1.5 stone but have been up a lb down a lb for over a month now and have 1.5 stone still to go. I'm on 1200 too, even on other sites that people have recommended to get a more accurate calorie allowance it comes out at that, it…

Hi Siobhan, after a few months off and a 4lb gain on what I'd previously lost I'm re-starting today too. Time to remember why I wanted to do this in the first place. I've got 20lb to lose to get to the middle of my healthy range, hoping to achieve that in 20 weeks maximum!

You look really good and it's a massive achievement from your first picture but I totally understand that you're not done yet. I'm also 5'2 and weigh 141 pounds so very similar to you. Do you mind if I add you as a friend for motivation to get that last 15 or so pounds off?

I just started Day 1 Level 1 today. My fitness levels were zero before January when I started C25k, now I can run for 30 minutes with relative ease, but I found this workout tough! I've never really done any strength before though. Really hoping I see some results on my arms and abs

It is scary when you first start out, most of us can't help worrying what other people think, we all know we shouldn't care but we do... I started by running early mornings when not many people were around, until I felt more confident, but I still prefer early runs where the only other people you see are those getting…

Keep at it. You'll amaze yourself with your achievements each week. While I was following the programme I spent a lot of time on the Health Unlocked c25k forum. The folks there will support you every step of the way. They're a super friendly community x

I just did mine on there and it came out at 1220, so for some of us 1200ish is where we need to be

That's a fantastic achievement. Wouldyou share with us the kinds of things you eat to stay within your 1210? I'm doing 1200 and need some new ideas, I'm getting stuck in a rut

Hi everybody, I'm also on a 1200 plan. Most days I stay within the 1200 by making sure my meals are packed with veg or salad and I drink lots of water. I've got 18lb still to lose, and I'm averaging 1lb per week, although I seem to only be seeing a loss every other week, which I don't really understand when my weeks are…

I've bought one of these, and since I did, I've managed 2 litres every day! It really helps me remember to drink :) hydratem8.co.uk/

I have similar stats and am 22lb down so far and also have 1200 allowance. I've swapped to almond milk for my breakfast porridge. I drink lots of water throughout the day. I graze on carrot sticks in between meals. Lunch tends to be salad with lean meat (ham / chicken / tuna) or soup or leftovers from the previous evening…

I get on the scale every morning and I know it's an unhealthy obsession but I only record once a week on a Saturday regardless of whether it's gone up or down.
-
Add me, I definitely need accountability. I've lost 21lb so far with another 21lb to go. Also on 1200 per day.

If you're not drinking plenty of water you may be dehydrated, it is very common to confuse thirst for hunger. Try drinking a glass of water when you first feel hungry and waiting 15 minutes before eating, you'll then know which it is.

I'd love to make some connections on Garmin Connect. I have a forerunner 15 for running and have just bought a secondhand vivofit to wear everyday as a watch and activity tracker. I'm Kim_Kong on there.

I'm 5'2" and started at 163 in October last year. I'm currently at 142 after about 6 weeks recently of losing and gaining the same couple of pounds! My goal is to get to 125, but may try to get to 121 as that's a nice round 3 stones lost and I'm all about the neat and tidy

When I was dong C25k I listened to the soundtrack from the movie Chef (Jon Favreau), the cuban funky beats really kept me going! Now I tend to listen to my hubbys blog playlist as it's a nice eclectic mix of music I might not usually choose. and I listen to it for pleasure rather than to keep me going.

Hi, I'm from Leeds. Have lost 21lb so far with another 16lb ish to go (depending how I feel when i get there...) Feel free to add me, I need the accountability!

Will it go off after one day? I use left overs for lunch the next day or just have the same dinner twice in a row. Can you start freezing portions, then there will be some days you will have quick and easy meal ready prepared.
-
I'm an advocate of drinking more water too. Since I started ensuring I get my 2 litres throughout the day I'm much less hungry. It's a fact that we often mistake thirst for hunger and I definitely realise now that I've been dehydrated for a long time.

I started C25K as my new year resolution this year and graduated in March. My first few weeks I was glad it was winter and dark because I was so self conscious. Now I go out in day-glo

Very true, and portion control is definitely not my strong point. Essentially I'm greedy. If something tastes good I'll keep going for more and more. BUT if I said to my SW consultant that I thought my weight loss was suffering because I was eating too much 'free' food, she would tell me, not and that I can eat as much as…

I find that constant grazing and increasing my water intake helps with this, I do a desk job and always have a tub of carrot sticks to munch throughout the day and since I started drinking more water, I'm definitely less hungry.

I've been doing SW since October but I've been struggling a bit lately so thought I'd come here to experiment with calorie counting to see how I go. The amounts I was eating for 'free' on SW would take me way over my 1200 calories MFP has calculated so I'm not sure how the two can be compatible. Any tips on how others are…

Hi. I'm new too. Have lost 18 pounds since October last year, but need a boost now to get the same off again! Add me

Hi, I'm also 38 and wanting to improve my health before I'm 40. I've been doing Slimming World, and lost 18.5 pounds so far of the 35 / 40 that I want to lose but lately it's been SLOW I'm questioning a few things about the plan, and the things it allows you to eat in abundance that may not make you fat but certainly can't…

I'm also new here, I'll send a request :)
