  • I have it too and it is a slow process. Up your protein, take measurements as opposed to just weighing in and keep up the hard work. If you're feeling better, stronger, have more energy/stamina that should be your gauge. And keep talking to your endocrinologist regarding your health. You can do it!
  • I do all different kinds of tree nuts- cashews, pecans and hazelnuts. Also, add flax seed to your diet- it expands similar to chia seeds+Good omega 3s for combatting afternoon fog. I try to avoid peanuts but will do it in a pinch (honey roasted are a weakness). Sunflower kernels are great, too. Add tea to your schedule,…
  • Add a walk and add some leeway to your snacking. Add protein powder to a lo cal drink. Add chia seeds to your water with a juice ice cube. Handful of nuts.
  • I like to have cut up veggies ready to go in ziplock. Fresh herbs are good, too. I made 2 of the muffin recipes that Eat This Not That posted this past week that are low carb and gluten free and have them for afternoon snacks.
  • I had my profile set as "male" by accident for my first month  SO needless to say, some things are different now that I have fixed- double check that. ALSO~ stop weighing yourself and take your measurements instead. My weight only went down 4 lbs BUT my inches went down by 2" off my hips. So try measuring yourself!!
