I love adding in a cup of spinach, a half cup of cottage cheese or half an avocado to my smoothies. They don't really change the taste when you're blending them with other fruits, but I find make for a creamier consistency to the smootie; plus they add extra protein or good fats and vitamins. You should try it out. :)

My calories are set higher because I'm currently nursing my baby. To sustain a healthy production level, it's recommended to eat around 600 calories more than your normal calorie intake.
