yay hit 100 miles! Today is a rest day...I hate rest days!! Had a lot of catching up to do, busy week and I didnt get on here as much! @7lenny7 - loved the race report @runner_girl83 - I second mortons neuroma. I had to deal with that a couple months ago. It was a bit frustrating but went away slowly.

Race Day today!! No better way to spend Mother's Day in my opinion :) Its very windy and warm though...could be interesting...we'll see how that affects things!

Did my 4miles easy yesterday. Went home and went to bed at 8:45pm (woohoo...party at my house). Still battling the cold today but no worse...yay? Rest day today race day tomorrow!

Another 5 miles today. 1.5 warm-up, 2 miles at 7 mins/mile, 1.5 miles cool-down. Last run with any speed before race day on Sunday :)

@juliet3455 The Good Life Fitness Half-Marathon in Victoria in October is my favourite Half-Marathon on the island. There are a few good 10's as well but the Vancouver Island Race Series is just finishing. Most of the races are Jan-May.

when I first started running half's I used to take 2, one at 7km and one at 14km. I would take one with caffeine and one without. Too much caffeine makes my tummy upset. Back then I finished in just over 2hrs. Now my time is down to 1:40 and I fine one gel is enough but same deal I split it up and eat half at around 1/3rd…
