Also stay hydrated and drink plenty of water! I have tried the calorie method I mentioned and have lost a few pounds over about 2 weeks with just dieting alone. No exercise added. So if you add exercise and try that calorie method it should help.

Eat more calories on the days you exercise a lot. If you burn a lot of calories but keep your intake low your body thinks it's starving. Try upping your calories by 300 every other day.
