  • Needlepoint! After dinner, we usually watch some anime and eat junk, found that to be a SUPER hard habit to break. Started doing needlepoint instead and it keeps my hands busy enough to not even realize I'm not snacking. When I take breaks from it I try to drink tea so my hands are holding onto something.
  • Hiya and me too! I have been on MFP for a long time but honestly hardly post (could never keep up with message boards), mainly stick to my page and sometimes read the top post thingies. I'm all for new friends but people to help keep me accountable! I actually hit my goal weight last year and then gained 30-35lbs so trying…
  • Similar here, gained about 30lbs back from the 105 I lost and still hate my body. Been working on that part though and I loved how I looked before (just didn't see it at the time). I started on my quest already and need to lose about another 20lbs so this is perfect! Would love some friends and support along the way to…
  • I agree with those above that you really need to work with your therapist on this. However, with that said, I have BED, as well as other EDs, and have lost 105lbs. I think the main reason I was successful this time around was I worked with my therapist and focused on my mental health before anything. Once I got my head in…
  • sent you a friend request! I currently mainly play WoW and some console games ^.^
  • You can do a lot without spending money! Body weight workouts can still reap insane results and you can always buy inexpensive resistance bands or a couple weights. Plus going for walks/jogs/runs outside are 100% free!!! you got this!!! the hard part is reminding your self that you can do it but that comes with time. Took…
  • I could use some support - requested to join!
  • Depends on what you like and your fitness level. I started my changes with BeachBody and used the ondemand when it first came out but around that same time I was advancing past those workouts. I think they're great if you travel a lot or prefer body weight workouts and don't mind watching/doing the same thing over and over…
  • I found that Zombies, Run! 5k is the best training app I've used! Got me to 5k, then 10k, then a half marathon. It has a great story to keep you distracted and not only does run/jog intervals (like most apps) but has you do leg strengthening and stretching. You may look silly skipping or doing calf raises but it will help…
  • All wrist based HR monitors are very inaccurate, it's best to go via a chest strap for better accuracy. Given that you really shouldn't base your calories off what MFP auto calculates as its usually very inaccurate. You should figure out your BMR & TDEE to help figure out your calories and macros. I use the calculator on…
  • I vote to take an intro class (from when I researched it almost all Cross Fit places have one) and see how you like it. They're very different and a personal preference. I'll add that I choose not to look more into Cross Fit when I was researching it due to the high risk of injury. Not only from typical google search…
  • I lost a lot of weight on my own and thought I could keep at it like that. Looking for people to help support me in keeping the weight off and staying the course.
  • To build muscle you need to eat more calories and high protein. Lift heavy, low reps, and minimal cardio (mainly HIIT training). Also it takes time to build muscle, if you do it perfectly you're looking at 0.5%BF reduction a month on average for women. You can build and lose weight but you'll need to find a middle on the…
