hi you guys, I read some and had to skip over. I was really under pressure for some things having to work a lot on the weekend. now taking a few days off. as usual I read the following pages to my last post hoping not to miss any personals, and then the last few pages. such a big and busy group!

@Machka9 nice glasses. @OregonMother glad you had a great trip!

Heather, CRUISES my neighbour said he and his husband went on a cruise in November I think and they could only visit in groups (no individual visiting) so he wasn't so crazy about that.

do any of you listen to blinkist. I love it sometimes. I listen to short synopsis of explanations of philosophy. much nicer (and more realistic) to learn philosophy 101 (so to speak) while cleaning the kitchen than reading dense obscure books for hours.

Barbara, that makes sense that you are aware of those unusual situations. My sis is in Colorado and with rare flooding a few years back normal life in near desert land was awash. Roads cut off people staying at one and others homes... things you just never expect.... Good to be aware. So much time spent on bugs (computer…

So lots of you use paper. yay I am not alone. It's partly a generational thing I'd say. it seems likely that at times we will be without electricity or web... good to have some stuff. Barbara wow I hope you stay safe with the mild earthquakes. I'm sorry about the grant! :| I had a very short meeting across town but the…

enjoying reading and skimming... today 15 min on stationary bike work on writing (1st part, one of the chapters), work at café this morning, haven't for a while. either a meeting or a short dr's appointment + 1h round trip public transport (both at same time, if one is not confirmed the other will happen) work on boring…

Thanks Vicki, mine wasn't really painful I was just a bit concerned after 3 days as I didn't see much notice of it reading on line, especially the heat. I was prescribed some cortisone cream and I quickly went back to normal. You sound like you are really enjoying Christmas!

SUNDAY ! I need to work on my yucky file. I'm gonna clean first though cause home is in bad shape. an hour does magic in a cozy small place! I often aim for 15 min kitchen 15 min living 15 min BR 15 min bath, but I think BR will get more as there is laundry to iron and put away and bed to be made. When it's clean I feel…

BARBARA so interesting about the dog training you've done so far SUE wow about the credit card. Good you caught it!

MICHELE here it's pretty much mostly Pfizer or Moderna, I got 1 and 2 in Pfizer and was just tired, not extremely, with a feeling of punch in arm on 1 for 24h. Moderna is said to be ever so slightly more efficient so I went for it, but felt the following the 1% increase in protection doesn't seem worth the side effects. It…

FLEA you sound so serene all around. I'm admirative. I'm glad you have good health care. I agree everyone should have it. Like in Aussi here in France everyone gets basic health care, including cancer treatment. So in many countries that is possible but not all. Still glad for those who have it. The fact that the same…

Hello, enjoying reading. KIM maybe the theme "support" ? let us know what you choose! I don't really choose a theme for a year. some years I have had a sentence or something but not these past years. a few key meetings yesterday and this morning, especially yesterday, 2 went well one interesting even if results not what we…

Thanks for starting us off Barbie as always. Dozy. slept little then had jab at 8:30. Felt okay and then not so great for an hour or two and canceled a one on one viseo meeting (requiring a lot of attention) today. I have another meeting either at home or 15 min walk or so from home. Sort of non-negotiable. Unfinished work…

Barbie that sounds challenging and enriching with the raccoon son.

Terri I don't know what you are going in for but I hope it goes well as can be.

Thanks everyone for the shout outs! Much appreciated! VICKI i'm so sorry about your friend passing. BETH that lovely energetic dog doesn't sound like a great match. If he is reasonably young i bet he's easy to find a home for. Some youngish people would be thrilled to get an energetic lunk of dog.

HEATHER Woohoo! congratulations! BARBARA Thanks for the shout out!

Beth i am so sorry for all you are going through. are there some aid options : medicaid medicare other. my sister has long been disabled (unable to work) only rather late in life it was determined that her disability allowed her help etc. when she had very serious cancer with chimeo she couldn't walk more than a few steps…

Hello you guys! Sorry i have been off the boards. i know that most or all of you forgive us when we are off boards. I'm unable to read back 18 pages and even less to comment thoughtfully so I'lll read the last two or three and jump back on board where i am. I am impressed by those of you who are able to do a much more…

REBECCA I'm sorry about your sister. Addiction is hard to understand, and get over. Some people have the strength, will, disposition, genetics or whatever to get over it and others have much less (or make the wrong choices) and succumb to it. It's really hard to watch. CLOTHES IN RESTAURANTS, I worked for about a year and…

I have never seen such a huge pomegranate. What is the deal with the guy on your mom's land, and comes in for hours mostly around mealtime? How did he end up there? Has he been there for a while. Any plan for next step for him? sorry if you have already answered this!

Interesting. I'm rather sensitive. I'm not the MOST sensitive but not the least by any means. Living in a massive city has made me less sensitive I guess. oh, tired after a long day of this and that. mood much better than this morning. that's a plus! someone I interacted a good month ago who was all pissy was all smooth…

Hi Kate, kind of similar, more or less... with variants....hopefully we'll be on the upswing. <3

MICHELE . Only 6 weeks. No storage space possible!! I'll order it now. I'll lose 1.5 months rent, but I don't see any way around it. FLEA you sound amazingly calm! Glad things went pretty well all and all. Thinking of you! KAREN Life these days is exhausting. Have most of us not been marked for life by this health crisis?…

HEATHER - how awesome for your book and for your marriage LISA - Thank you! TRACEY and MACHKA and KELLY (and any others) I tire very easily these days too! MACHKA you have a heavy load with full time work, commute and DH to care for in some ways. it's understandable that you be tired. It's not only the glare - it looks…
