I was up and about walking pretty quickly but it took me a few weeks before I was comfortable running again. I ran a half marathon the week before the op and for the last couple of weeks have been slowly easing myself back into…
  • Just tried my new Garmin forerunner 25 for the first time and realised how inaccurate my iPod was in tracking my runs! Perfect for my needs, not too big for my small wrist, not too complicated a lovely purple colour!
  • I started running at the beginning of the year and have lost 15lb since mid April when I started on MFP. Currently doing a 5km, 10km and an 11km weekly and am doing my first half marathon in March. Definitely feeling fitter and slimmer.
  • A lovely 11k run on Thursday around the the woods near where I live and then a very cold parkrun with a friend on Saturday. Felt like I was running fast and was convinced I had beaten my pb but sadly not! Hoping to fit in a 5k in my lunch break tomorrow. Have my first half marathon in March, eeek!
  • I'm on around 2000 cals a day. Am currently 55 kilos and have lost 6 kilos since April. As well as walking at least 10,000 steps a day, I cycle for an hour 3 days a week, try to fit in 3 runs a week and a couple of sessions on the stationary bike. I love my food so fit in as much exercise as I can so I can eat what I want!
  • Starting running at the beginning of the year, doing my second park run on Saturday at Wimpole Hall in Cambridgeshire. Thinking of doing the Cambridge half marathon in March, just started the 10k runner app. Feeling good!
