I do 32 minutes a day at what MFP indicates is a 'light' effort. So I do not take a rest day. I do alternate days between stationary and weights.

First thing Sunday morning. I do not track my weight weekly, I track today's weight compared to what I weighed 1/1/16. That evens out the normal fluctuations.
