I weigh every week on Monday. I tried daily but it started getting to me and I was obsessing over it. As long as you honestly stick to your deficit you shouldn't have a problem with not weighing for awhile.

If I can control myself with only eating one of a special treat I will always include it if it fits into my calories. There are certain things I know I can't control myself with so I just avoid them, like cookies.

I would like to reach 145 pounds, about 45 pounds away. Then once I reach 145 I will reevaluate and set new goals.

It helps to create new habits so a healthy lifestyle becomes routine!

Do what you are comfortable with. i chose to not post a picture of myself because I want to remain somewhat anonymous. I want to be able to share my thoughts without risk of people I know finding my profile. I may one day post a real picture. No one is going to judge you for not posting a real picture!

This is what I do as well. It's a lot easier to not eat in the morning than feeling like I'm hungry while trying to go to sleep. Also, I feel like I can tell more when I am actually hungry vs when it is a craving.

I weigh myself weekly, every Monday. I was doing the daily thing but it just wasn't for me. I do better with my weight loss when I focus more on the habits and less on the actual number.

I look at diet as being the main weight loss tool and exercise is just an extra aid to diet. If someone were only to change one thing in order to lose weight, I would suggest they change their diet. I bought my food scale on Amazon, it was pretty cheap.

Many different guys will have different opinions but there will always be certain people that like a specific thing a girl could have.

It helps me when I am staying hydrated. Make sure to track your water and drink consumption to make sure you are getting enough!

Just Dance is definitely my favorite work out. I have so much fun with it, I forget that I am exercising.

I would start off making small changes in how you eat. Trying to change all the bad at once is just difficult. For example, I recognized that my biggest problem was drinking too much regular pop. So I cut out all drinks that had calories. I drink mainly water now with a few diet pops or teas but everything else stayed the…

I really like Covergirls BB cream!

Honestly if it is a problem food for you and you struggle not to binge on it, it would probably be easier on you to just not buy it.

Last year I became healthy and lost a decent amount of weight. Since I lost weight I bought a bunch of new clothes, then I gained all of the weight back. It sucked that I was in a position where my fat clothes were once again getting too tight to wear. So I started again knowing the hardest part for me is sticking to it. I…

Everyone in this thread looks amazing! Great work!

I do have a treat night. Every Friday is girls night and we go out to eat and then maybe make some dessert. I don't really eat crazy amounts. I try my best to stay under maintenance still and I don't eat for the rest of the day to save up those calories. It hasn't set me back so far but I am just in the initial stage of my…

I've lost a human newborn and I am aiming for a 5000 BTU air conditioner!

I also have this problem and it is what I want gone the most!

Like others have said, it really helps me to control my hunger. I enjoy eating at night and like going to bed not feeling hungry, so I skip out on the traditional breakfast time meal. It is easier for me to control the hunger when I know food is coming soon compared to when I have to fall asleep hungry.

The mini goal that is motivating me at the moment is to get to a 30 day streak on mfp. The hardest thing for me in my weight loss is simply sticking to it, so my main focus is always just to continue.

This all the way! That is why I am here everyday striving to feel better than the last and my main motivation for weight loss is to look my best.

I would recommend starting out by making small, sustainable lifestyle changes. Such as cutting out calories from the liquids you drink, stop eating fast food, be active for 30 minutes a day, etc. *kitten* your own problem areas and look for small changes you can make. Once you have made one habit, find another to work on.

Hey! I am 24, trying to lose more than 50 pounds. My favorite way to motivate myself is by motivating those around me! I love having friends around my age, so I can see what they are doing that could also help me. I would love to be friends, add me!

On mobile, click More>Settings>Profile>Units and then change them to what you would like. I am on iOS so it may be different for Android.
