I have been exercising more in the last 6 months.
-
I don't want to bulk. I am enjoying getting stronger and having more tone. I am happy with my body :) but I do religiously measure and weigh myself so when I see a fluctuation I want to fix the situation! I have never seen the scale go up :( so I panicked!
-
Thank you for your advice. Would you recommend restricting calories or maintaining what I'm doing? I plan on cutting down on alcohol haha!
-
I am only 5ft 2
-
Why would it be both if I have eaten the exact amount of calories? I have way upped my protein.
-
I'd love to but everyone is telling me that can't be right because for a woman to be that low she must be shredded and I'm not shredded-just toned! Lol

All these people saying divorce him or tell him off? NO. Marriage is a blessing. It should be treated as such. Treat your SO like a damn God/Goddess. Marriage is about honesty and spoiling each other rotten. Be 100% honest with you how you feel and keep at it. Try to avoid arguments. This is all down to his own…

Hi yes I'm aware you can't pick and choose where you lose fat. I have always done this workout. The only difference is the calorie restriction, I'm asking if there is anything I should add or remove from this workout.
-
Yes this is true. I drink a LOT of water. I always hear horror stories of it taking ages to shift small amounts of weight when you are already petite!
-
How do you know it's water weight? I know how my body works. I consistently weigh and measure my body. This is the first time there has been a change. No matter what time of month it is my waist always measures the same: 23 inches. The quicker you catch a little gain the easier it is to lose. I wish it was water weight!

1000 calories a week isn't much of a restriction. I have already been told this restriction is safe and appropriate. I normally eat 1500 6 days a week and 2200 on the 7th day but just cutting back. It's not the 2lbs that worries me as much as the half an inch on the waist. 2lbs is a *kitten* really let's be honest haha but…

Over the last few months instead of having a vodka Diet Coke when out with friends I would have cocktails instead and I did account for those extra calories but perhaps miscalculated or my body didn't burn off all that sugar. I didn't go crazy on the cocktails and drink excessively but it's the only thing that has changed.…

Yes this maintenance I have been doing for 8 years now and my weight has stayed exact but my waist has shrunk thanks to the gym! Is this calorie amount ok or shall I cut it a bit more?
-
When you say recomp what does that mean? I do use weights at the gym. Started at a mere 3kg now on 5kg. Is there more I should be doing ? Thank you!
-
My 1500 day and 2200 is my maintaining weight but since I gained i am cutting it to 1400-2000 instead
-
Thank you very much!
-
So true! Haha
-
I'm 5'3" and I maintain on about 2300...I have some weeks where I am highly active and others where I resemble a sloth[/quote] this is good to know! Thank you! :) I'm glad I could eat more if I needed to!
-
Sounds ideal! I will try cutting it out and add in strength ;) thanks for that!
-
That's exactly what I thought. For someone as small as me should I just expect a slow loss?
-
And it's half an inch on my waist, which means this gain was fat not just water weight or anything else.
-
I'd find it hard to believe a petite woman like myself could maintain my weight at 2400. Sounds an awful lot but I suppose I am active. I maintain on 1600 normally but perhaps my body has gotten used to this amount.
-
Thanks for this! I'm still learning a lot about it so glad I asked!
-
Yes thanks for this I am round the 17-20
-
Agreed! I will speak to my trainer. She is actuay a trainer in training and the lead trainer who oversees the programme was in a class during my body comp session so I will speak to her!
-
It is. If you look it up on the internet or speak to a fitness trainer they give you all the information :) (well at least I hope it's true! I certainly feel like it's true as the results have been amazing)
-
Oh definitely not! Looks like a mistake on the BIA! Thanks for that. I do look more like the 20% image
-
Thank you, that's been really helpful! :)
-
I suppose my concern now is why did my trainer not question that result?
