@speyerj the website is amazing. Thank you for sharing. I've sent it off to two of my friends that don't get onto the MFP forums

Are we posting daily results here or the other thread

@Mjbcoffee do you have kids? Just wondering why you were cooking dinner while fasting

So I went to my Pinterest boards to find a cool quote to post here. An hour and a half later I’ve been reading my joke board and boy was that funny but not what I was looking for. I had to go to google to get this one. I allow myself to be who I am without judgment

@JNettie73 this is tough and I wouldn't be able to think about this spure of the moment. But this is how I would handle it. I would try to make it into a teachable moment. I would just answer his question and say "in the past I used to eat too much desserts and fatty foods, like McDonald's. Now I eat a balanced amount of…

There was some really good information that I learned from them but I wished that their pricing was more forthcoming and that I stopped faster. It just never felt worth the money. But for someone new to dieting I could see it being helpful.

@Get_Back_To_Feeling_Good I calculate my eating time slightly differently than you. If I'm doing a 16:8 schedule and I start eating at 10:00am, than 8 hours of eating would mean I stop eating at 6:00PM. I plan on sticking to a 16:8 schedule for the 10 day challenge. The weekends are going to be really hard for me.

Hi all. I created a thred for us to support each other https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10830675/intermittent-fasting-support-network#latest

Very interesting. I googled TDEE and found a calculator. If I put sedentary it gives me the same calories that I get from MFP (IF I manually subtract the calorie deficit I want to lose at my current rate). Maybe I should be eating back more if my exercise calories. I don't do a lot of exercising and I like those calories…

I’ve seen a couple of people mention TDEE. What is that?
-
Whoa that was a long post. I guess I’m still miffed about how much I paid and how little I got out of it.
-
@JNettie73 I think I’ve been spoiled by what the FREE MFP has to offer. There are multiple things about Noom that didn’t work for me. Overall I’ve dieted forever and have done a million different things: south beach, lean for life, weight watchers, MFP and Noom. So let’s just say tracking and dieting isn’t new to me. Here…

@MuttiNM your story is truly inspiring
-
So I weighed in. I’m the exact same weight as yesterday. So that means that my weight yesterday was accurate and I probably lost more weight from yesterday. This will help me stay on track for today. Weekends are always harder to stay in my calorie goal.
-
Here is the dilemma, I accidentally drank 8 ounces of water before my yoga workout. Not a big deal and since I had just got out of bed it’s probably a good idea. But I forgot to weigh myself before I drank the water. Do I weigh in now (8 ounces IS half a pound and I lost a huge amount yesterday so I want to know if that…

I like to set little goals for myself and then I have little rewards. Here are a couple: - Individual supplies for making sourdough bread - new case for phone - Arm holder for phone - Fancy flavored water (normally wouldn't pay $2 per bottle) - New book that I can't get from library
-
I agree it is not mobile friendly but when I was on Noom I realized that I missed the community from MFP so much. Their groups were just not the same and you didn't have any options. But I do have to say that the "spinning loading circle" in the middle of Mt screen whenever I'm in the community section is really annoying.

Yikes!! Where is

with Sharkodiles inside.

I'm so thankful that I'm able to fast. The last couple of days have been rough when I feel like I'm craving something but can't forget it what I'm craving so I just keep eating. Since I'm not able to stay eating until 11 it had really helped me limit the number of calories that I could consume in a day

Has anyone found a thred or group for people who IF? I would like to find a group of people or start a chat thred for us to support each other
-
I realized that I haven't posted before but I've been reading your posative quotes and positive affirmations. Thank you for all of your support. My favorite quote (from back in highschool) is "I do not suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute." At first I loved the quote because it felt like I was giving the world "the…

@pessxx I am so sorry for your loss. I also lost my cousin this year to a heart attack. She was 36. You never know, the only thing is that I know that I love her and we had the opportunity to hang out the fall before COVID started after not really being able to see each other for a real quality visit for the last 10 years.…

well it's Friday Eve....so I'll count that as Friday fitness. While waiting for my daughter's tap class my 7 year old and I took a walk we had a nice 30 minute walk just the two of us. I got to here all about Troom Troom, Scooby Doo, school and the reason why we should use your ears to hear if cars are coming instead of…

@JNettie73 i also wonder how everyone is doing. I saw skinnyjeans on here a couple of months ago but it seems like a short return to the thred. My friend is also a vegetarian who has found most weight loss progams difficult. We affectionately call her a carbetarian. She ate carbs and cheese and did not like vegetables. She…

@AlexandraFindsHerself1971 great job!! This is something I struggle with myself. I'll strive to be able to emotional eating with the same moderation that you have been able to achieve.

@Angief05 are you kidding 18lbs is a huge amount to take off. Keep up the great work.
