Several thoughts come to mind... Are you allowing for occasional indulgences? I find that being too restrictive leads to over-indulgences. Having planned extravagances keeps them from being off limits. Thinking of foods in terms of good foods vs bad foods does not work for me. And mantras help me: If hunger is not the…

Are you able to pack a small cooler or insulated bag? Or are you asking for restaurant suggestions?

Deli turkey, fish, whey protein powder, fruits and veggies... And love my food scale!

I lost 65 pounds and have maintained for four years. No food is off limits, but I am selective. I follow Weight Watchers and decide if a food is "points-worthy" before I eat it... (Not to say that I haven't had slip-ups, binges, over-indulgences., etc.) My advice is don't do anything now that you are not willing to live…

Now I want some...

I am now 5'2" (originally 5'2 3/4", but aging has taken its toll...). Starting weight was 184.5. Personal goal 118.5 which I've maintained for more than 3 years. Weight is slightly up recently (122) but under control. I follow Weight Watchers and have been at or below their goal for 4 years and I still attend weekly…

I need to eat before I run, but at least 20 minutes before. If I run on an empty stomach I just don't have the stamina. But that's me. I think you need to experiment to figure out what works best for you.

Ha ha! Mess up the laundry, too, and you've got it made!

A food scale is invaluable. I use it for as many foods as possible. I can pack a lot of ice cream into a 1/2 cup measure...but the scale doesn't lie!

How are you determining the calories? Are you weighing and/or measuring your portions?

Around 15%, over 25 pounds. But then I started getting a lot of comments. It was close to half of my total loss. Except for my parents, who apparently never really noticed that I was so overweight... I had lost 50 pounds and commented on how much easier it was to take the stairs and walk long distances with 50 less pounds…

I'm 5'2" also and 61 years old. I weigh 122 currently and wear sizes 0-4, depending upon the mnufacturer. I set my weight goal for the top of my healthy range (136) and then increased activity and ate at slightly below maintenance until I got to my "happy weight." I woke up one morning, said I feel great, and decided…

I lost 66 pounds over a year and a half and I have some saggy skin...especially around my abdomen. A friend lost 150 over 4 years, 100 of it over 2 years, and she has lots of saggy skin. I think there is a point beyond which the skin is just too stretched, plus being older does not help. Exercise helps, but my middle area…

I hate to disappoint you both, but a pint of lager is 7 and a pint of fat free milk is 6... 12oz of lager (default serving size) is 5. Not to say it isn't worth it.,

I think that is because of the food labeling limitations. I am betting that in 2018 when added sugar is a label requirement, this penalty will drop. And many foods went down in points. I found that if I ate the same way I had been eating on Points Plus, it fit right into my Smart Points allowance. I am not crazy about the…

I love Weight Watchers and have maintained a 65 pound loss for 4 years. I'm not crazy about SmartPoints but I do like that it guides me toward healthier choices. And I still attend weekly meetings. I figure that I still have a weight problem, but am in remission. Meetings really help. And as a Lifetimer at (or below) goal,…

I agree - it is a skill. There are certain "visuals" that help me: - If you break an egg, do you throw the other 11 on the ground? No, you clean up the mess and move on. - If you get a flat tire, do you puncture the other 3? No, you fix it and keep going. - If you make a wrong turn, do you stop your trip? No, you get back…

I follow Weight Watchers. It is a sensible way of life that I can live with. I've maintained a 65 pound loss for four years.

I suggest taking your measurements once a month. Sometimes you will see changes that don't show up on the scale right away. Also, weight loss isn't linear and can fluctuate. If you are a daily weigher I suggest using an app like Libra or Happy Scale to track as it shows the trend and helps keep focus off daily…

Whey protein powder is an excellent source. Also non-fat Greek yogurt, fish, chicken, turkey, mini baby bel cheese...
