I take skinless chicken breasts and roll them in crushed Rice Krispies cereal and bake in the oven. Tastes like fried chicken only way better for you!

I am also diabetic. My doctor started me on Insulin a week ago. I have had diabetes for almost 30 years. A good place to find some meal plans for diabetics is online at the American Diabetic Association. Also there are some diabetic meal plans @ www.LillyDiabetes.com. You can add me if you want.

My main reason for wanting to lose weight is for my health. I am diabetic and just started on Insulin. I want to have more energy and be around to see my grandson grow up. Also, I am certainly more confident when I feel good about myself and I am living a healthier lifestyle.

I do not have Coeliac disease although I have been tested for it. I have been diagnosed as IBS-D. I have good days and bad days, stress seems to aggravate it. My doctor said I am gluten sensitive.

I would say don't go too low on your calories. If you get too low your metabolism will slow down and defeat your purpose. Make sure to journal everything you eat, drink enough water ( helps with sodium retention) and exercise if you aren't already doing so. Sometimes meds can also affect weight loss.
