I thought we were suppose to get .8 lbs of protein per kg of our weight. For me that's under 100g. At least that's what I keep reading online.
-
No I'd rather not go over 130g. I typically don't anyways even if I don't pay attention to my macros. And if 1500 is still too low then I'll reassess in a week or two.
-
I think I'll give 1500 a shot. After all I only have 57 lbs to left to lose. Once I only have 20 left I'll readjust so I'm only losing .5 lb a week.
-
Yeah I want to start small with weights as well and gradually increase every couple of weeks or so.
-
I'll have to check that out. I don't want to raise my deficit too much though so I don't gain or hit a plateau.
-
A little over 1800 I believe. But it set my macros way too high in my opinion. I don't typically go over 130g of either protein or carbs. Plus I thought at 1500 I could still aim for a lb a week.
-
Makes sense.

I'll have to check both of those out. I definitely want avoid losing muscle. I just hope I haven't already. :(

@RoxieDawn My protein is set at 131g but I usually only eat at 100g sometimes 120g. Which from what I understand is ok foe me. Because we're suppose to have .8 lb per kg of our weight. The only things I've been doing is walking/jogging and doing Jillian Michaels beginner shred DVD. I've been wanting to add some strength…

@kshama2001 I'm not sure. I was thinking around 140 or 150. I have a bit of a large ribcage and I don't want it stick out too much. I know that seems less important than being healthy, but I want to love the body I'm in also. So is 2 lbs too much to aim for at this time?
-
I'm 5'6. I knew I'd at first lose a lot fast but from what I've seen of other MFP users they aim for .5 to 1 lb a week. I have Mine set for 1.5 a week but here lately I lose 2 lbs a week. Probably because I'm not eating at the deficit they recommended.

It's definitely a weird feeling. I still feel like people are staring at me wondering why I'm shopping in the junior section. I was a size 20 US but now I'm a 17 in juniors and possibly a 14 in women's. It's surreal. :)

You look amazing. You should have a smile on that face girl you're beautiful. You should definitely be proud. Good luck to you with the rest of your journey.

I don't really feel different anymore. At first I did. But now I have no cravings what so ever. As for weighing myself, I don't do it. I usually wait a couple of days after and then weigh myself.
-
I work on my feet 5-8 hours and I don't consider it exercise. So I'd say no. Just set your activity level to lightly active if need be.
-
Wow you look amazing. Congratulations. And I'm not seeing a lot of lose skin so that's awesome. :)

What about her beginners shred dvd? I always log that as aerobics low impact. It says at 20 minutes I've burned 150 at 199 lbs. I've been assuming that was accurate.

I can wear an XL now. Trust me I know how you feel. When I first put on a size 17 pants in juniors and they actually fit I definitely cried a little. Of course now they're loose on me. Lol.
-
Congratulations. You look great.

21 lbs is a big deal. Congratulations on your loss and good luck with the rest of your journey. :)

Yes I have. Mine was always pretty high before, but now it's I almost have low blood pressure. The only thing I can think of that helped was lowering the amount of sodium I consumed in a day. Plus I no longer eat fast food which I believe has helped a lot. :)
-
Start by slowly taking things out of your diet and adding things in its place. Like instead of soda have fruit infused water. Instead of a fast food burger make your own using healthier ingredients. As far as exercise try for 10 mins every other day and then gradually work your way up. Start with walking and then add in…

It's both a sad and happy thing to give up clothes and even shoes. :( But hey now we get to rock all of those cute clothes we eyed from afar but could never wear. So it's a good thing. I'm definitely getting low on clothing myself, especially pants, but I'm happy about it. I'm not at my goal weight yet so buying clothes is…

You look amazing. Congratulations on your hard work. Its definitely paid off. And I love the bit about the gym being a funeral for fat. Lol. So true.

I would say to exercise every other day or at least 3 days a week. And eat back half or almost half your calories. I don't know what 3 stone is in lbs since I'm in the US, but it doesn't sound like a lot and from I understand with only a small amount to lose you want to lose .5 lbs a week. No more than that. Not eating…

Congratulations on your success so far. You're adorable.

Yes I'm trying to preserve muscle and from what I've been told 100g is too low for me. I'm not really strength training. I go for walks/jog 3x a week and do jillian Michaels beginners shred twice a week which does use dumbbells but I wouldn't call it strength training at all. I do plan on adding strength training to my…
