One day at a time.... ;)

Wow, this is exactly me - all I did was guesswork and had absolutely no clue how my "good eating" was really not so good....now I'm 3 days into tracking and has blown my mind how ignorant I've been to what I'm eating and having the audacity to complain I've not been able to shed weight. I am happy to hear this is not…

I'm In! Day 1 complete. Yikes! It's worse than I thought - I struggled to complete the 20 seconds :S This is gonna be a long 30 days, but let's do it!

Sometimes letting it out helps, and hopefully it's done that - even for a short while. Seems like it'll take more than a slight post to help that. Stay strong...everything happens for a reason, even if we can't see it at the time. Things always get better, you'll get through it ;)

Seems there's a few of us 1200 calorie intakers. I am also struggling with maintaining that too. I'm very inexperienced to "eating clean", so it was a huge shocker to me to see what I thought was healthy eating was maybe not so much....I've only been on this a few days, but I've gone over each day - even with exercise.…

@wilsoncl6 I'm going to try to put more protein in, it's such a learning curve - day 3 and still experimenting with carbs/protein/fat lol. @rosebette Yes, I am getting calories back, albeit not many, but some (265 first day, 300 second day).

Do you think it could be just not knowing how to properly eat for 1200 calories a day? I find myself in this struggle. I joined yesterday, and based on what I've entered I am at 1200 calories a day too. As one who's NEVER logged everything that's gone into my mouth (36F, 121lbs, 5'0), I've quickly learned crash course…

Thank you @WalkerPop, I'm thrilled to be here. Lol, well I can certainly relate to the accountability and years of terrible habits needing to change. For the first time ever I started tracking everything that went into my mouth yesterday - and what an eye opening experience it was. How misinformed and uneducated I was -…

The advice I was given is it takes time....your body has to have time to adjust. Keep doing what you're doing and it will just happen. I feel the frustration, I've been at this for at least a month and have seen only a pound fluctuation up or down. However I will say, yesterday was the first day I've ever tracked my…

Me too! As in I'm new and a runner....it's amazing how taking time off (I was at over a year and a half myself before I started a few months ago), and by keeping at it how quickly it seems to come back. I though am 36 and have experienced a few age related setbacks (ugh, apparently over 35 and your body doesn't like you…

As I see the challenge filled up a few days ago, if you do have a wait list, could I please be added? Thanks....and wish I'd joined the site a week sooner!

Well they say (whoever "they" is lol) that one is more likely to hold themselves accountable if they make themselves accountable to someone else too. With that being said - one of my main issues is late night snacking...so as I gasp and hit send - I'm in! Thanks :)

This is really fantastic to see this group. A lot of people I know roll their eyes when I say I have to lose weight that I've gained - they don't understand, but for us smaller women - a little means a lot. I myself am 36, 5'0 and currently weigh 121. I quit smoking nearly 4 months ago - enough said lol. My previous weight…

Morning gang, I've been using UA's MapMyRun, however as many other, discovered this from the Chiggers episode I listened to on the way to work this morning. I'm sort of on my own in the whole fitness thing (other than trying to model the example to my 12 year old daughter), so this is sort of my shot to get some likeminded…
