One or two pizza or ice cream slip ups during the week can be diluted with the rest of the week being really good and healthy. You're not crazy. I think on some level most of us are anxious about going to the gym. Best way to get through it for me is a great playlist on a loud volume. Do your own thing, you belong in the gym as much as anyone.
