Please get over yourself.

My point was this is a a place to talk and this is the topic that the OP wanted to talk about. If this was a place for everyone to keep to themselves, every topic would have zero replies. Oh and to answer your question. Knowing someone is richer than you won't help you put money in your bank account, but knowing WHY…

Okay then. Why are you here?
-
I don't see anything wrong with the OP being concerned about these things. This is a forum. It's specifically here as a place for people to focus on other people.

I eat the same amount of calories as OP. It's easy to get good nutrition if you stick to nutritiously dense foods. I'm not sure how much our maintenance calories differ though. Edit: for better wording.

Who was mean??? Please quote them. I saw nobody being mean.
-
I've been called mean for being honest with people about bad habits. Add me if you want. I'll do my best to give you "tough love" motivation.
-
If you want to create your own, you can also google "banana nutrition" or whatever food you want with "nutrition" behind it.

I did this same thing for about 3 weeks and I'm 6'1" and was 240 pounds at the time. Some days I would burn 800-900 calories. I found it easy and I never felt weak. I did it at my own risk though. I would never tell someone else they should try it. I'll admit it was dumb for me to do it, but I got great results.

Hey I've got a similar goal. I started at 269 and I've lost about 37 pounds since then. My sort term goal is 200 pounds, but I am planing on getting below 170 eventually. I think when I get to 200 I'll start trusting my eye a little more than the scale. Add me if you want.

Seriously, I hope you are not really depressed over 10 pounds. Please get some help if you are. To lose the weight though just eat less calories than you burn in a day and be patient it won't happen overnight.
-
Do you care more about stuffing your face or losing that 60 pounds? That's all it comes down to. You are the only person who can help yourself with this problem. I also have struggled with binge eating, but I finally hit a point where I just wasn't okay with abusing my body anymore. I know that seems harsh and mean, but…

Newcastle is one of my favorite beers.

I'm binge watching Supernatural for the second time. I've binged Smallville, Doctor Who, and Harry Potter more times than I can count.
-
That sounds awesome. Are you at maintenance now?
-
I would gain a pound each week with this. Just subtract 500 calories a day from your maintenance to lose a pound a week or burn 500 calories a day (same thing). 1 pound = 3500 calories.
-
Is this when you have two meals a day instead of three?
-
I'll be 25 in a month and I've got 33 pounds to lose to hit my goal of 200 and from there I'm not sure if I will lose more or not. I like to set checkpoint goals cause it keeps my encouraged. I do a little bit of running but most of my progress has been from cutting calories. Add me if you like. We might motivate each…

Thanks for all the information. I didn't know fiber is a carb, but I was starting to think that it might have been because I noticed that my carbs went up quite a bit when I increased my fiber. I'll play around with the numbers you gave me and see what kind of nutrition plan I can come up with.

Yeah I think seeing someone everyday makes it harder to notice, but that's crazy that they didn't notice after 70 pounds. Great work, btw!

I'm guessing the average healthy man is around 150-190ish pounds (could be more with bodybuilders). I've had my protein goal at 113g a day for a few days now and it's hard for me to get all the protein and stay at 1500 calories. Maybe may calorie goal makes it harder to meet it? What types of foods do you usually go for to…

Are you eating breakfast? I used to eat breakfast everyday because "it's the most important meal of the day" well it's not important it was just causing me to eat when I wasn't hungry and that just opened the flood gate and I ate way too much the rest of the day.
-
If you are eating 1500 calories a day you should be losing weight even with no gym time. It seems to me like you might be eating more than you think you are. Do you log everything you eat? You'll get more accurate calories if you are weighing your food instead of measuring it or estimating. (Check out the thread "scale…

Yeah I know what you mean. Coming here helps me stay on track. Now I just need to make sure I'm spending less time here than working out.

Way better than facebook.

How many calories are you eating a day? How active are you? How tall are you? Do you weigh your food? How much water do you drink a day? Any health issues? Lots of questions I know, but the more information you give us the better we can try to help you out. Losing weight is all about burning more calories than you eat.…

I do this too. I also weigh naked because different outfits have different weights. You will usually weigh more at the end of your day than the beginning. I don't think it really matters though as long as you weigh at about the same time every day/week. Your body is constantly fluctuating, so there really is no perfect…

You can do this, Glitterwinds. I started with having to lose 80 pounds, so I know how big that number can sound. Just give it your best every day and if you hit a speed bump you have a whole community here to motivate you and give you advice. This is really the most helpful forum I have ever found on the internet and…

I hope the community will be a positive experience for you. I've been logging in multiple times a day and it has helped me stay motivated.
