Sometimes I'll start one, and realize I'm hungrier than I thought I was, and I'll save the rest of it for another meal, but I'll still keep the calories logged and it helps me remember I have to finish since I've already accounted myself for it.

I've been having 1 Slim Fast every day for breakfast. Sometimes I'll have two, the second one usually dinner. I'm down 30 lbs , and plan to continue this way. They're nice if you don't have many calories left, and they're easier to take on the go if you're going to have a busy day.

There is no kind way of cutting contact off with someone you've been talking to for 10 yrs. Rip the band aid off if you want her to let go of your family and move on, but give her your true reason for it and not this sudden feeling of betrayal. Because that should have happened 10 years ago when she broke your sons heart.

This. While losing weight, try to retrain your thought process with foods. It took me a while to, but when I finally did, this whole weight loss journey became easier. Have what you want, log it, and if you go over, do better tomorrow. One day at a time, making small changes, is what makes the bigger picture, and leads to…

I'm definitely one who gets goosebumps from good music, mostly instrumental. The only songs that make it on my workout list are the ones that make me feel like running. Once it looses its charm, or I find myself hitting next, its gone. I agree that the right music can definitely impact motivation or productivity.

When I couldn't lay on my back anymore to go to sleep because it was hard to breath, and when I'd push through the discomfort, I'd find myself jutting awake cause I'd stop being able to breath in fully. So yeah, that's definitely a wake up call.

Starting 230, Currently 201.2 , and my first GW is 190, UGW being 130. I've mainly been doing CICO and have been thinking of starting some kind of working out, but I just can't seem to find the motivation to. I might do the 30 Day Shred when I start since I've heard good things about it.

Great job!!!!

Sounds to me like she's jealous. You can't do anything about rude comments other than tune them out. Congrats on the 17 lb loss so far, you're doing awesome!

SW: 230 CW: 202 Short-term goal: in the 160's by June and 140's by September GW: 130 , but I am 5'2 so I'll have to see how I feel by then. Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I've been hit with the case of the munchies today, so I'll be sticking to meal shakes tomorrow to help balance the weekend out.

I'll be turning 29 in Sept, but I've got quite a bit of weight to still lose before I hit 30. I'm already 30 lbs down, 70 to go! Feel free to add me if you like :)

-July 13th- Checking in a day late, but I finally made it! CW: 199.4 Loss: 2.0 Good luck to everyone here! I'll definitely be popping back in to cheer everyone on ^_^

All the substitution suggestions are great, but the overloaded drinks doesn't seem to be your only problem. Moderation, self control and accountability stick out to me. You can go for all the healthier options you want, but if you don't follow through with those three key points, you'll still be stuck right where you are.

Seeing how all mine are under the age of 10, the idea of having them count calories is insane. I do however talk to them about the food choices they make and what serving sizes are, be it when I'm making their food, or when they watch me make my own. As for the comment "obese child = abused child" , wow! You must be a…

-June 21- My biggest enemy is stress eating. I have been gaining and losing the same few pounds since January. I'm so disappointed in myself right now, because if I had stuck through it, I could have already hit one of my GWs, maybe even two, by now. CW: 205.4 Loss: 0.6

-June 1- Two weeks of not logging and bad eating. Now to get back on track, and thank my lucky stars I didn't gain more. CW: 206.0 Loss: 0 6 to Onederland
