Looks good. Any idea when, where we will be able to view it?

@sschristy Keep up the good work! This forum is a great place to get motivated. You've worked the plan before so you know that it has worked for you in the past. Welcome aboard.

Crock pot stew with low carb veggies. Homemade vegetable soup. Oven roasted veggies. Homemade pulled pork.

Interesting, for sure. Another possible carbohydrate-related problem.

I just asked permission to join. I use the website (not phone app). Will we have to click on "Low Carbers" group or will it appear under Community as a group all its own?

I listened to his AMA podcast (Ask Me Anything) He touched briefly near the end on ketosis and why he is no longer in ketosis after being strict for three years (he is still LCHF). So much of his answers are really in-depth (REALLY IN-DEPTH) and fly right over my head but still I think he makes some great points and has…

Sounds like a great idea.

Switching from Keto to low carb had proven to work better for me.

I'm in agreement with the above remarks on "sugar alcohols." I believe Atkins Harvest Trail bars (or some name like that) do not contain the sugar alcohols. I sometimes indulge in the lowest in sugar Kind bars; mostly nuts and a little dark chocolate.

@Cadori : When I was strapped for time one year, I would put my headphones on (no one was disturbed) and do floor stretches and sit ups, etc. for 25 minutes each morning or evening, whichever fit the schedule. I figured something was better than nothing. This week I managed to drop two pounds, hallelujah to that!! I did…

Ok, here goes: 1. Did not stress eat 2. Kept carbs under 50 3. DID NOT LOSE AN OUNCE for the last three weeks! I know I have only 20 to reach goal and I should not complain but geez three weeks and no change :'(
-
That was a real "eye opener" and IMO the best part.
-
Hi Matt: You seem to be on the right track. Congrats on the great progress you've made.
-
I seem to be in the same boat as you! Haven't lost an ounce in two weeks and really way over 50 yrs :) Keep telling myself Must Keep Trying. It does get discouraging at time.
-
Good for you! Congrats!
-
Ok, got on scale today and was up two lbs. Kept carbs low but perhaps was a little lax on calories, but nothing drastic. Could be normal fluctuation. Will carry on and be more careful with calories. Am on my last 20 and ALWAYS have a very slow time at this point.

Many are available in parts to non-members. Also one can take a free month to see if membership suits; and use that month to listen to great info.

Congrats to you. You lost 70 lbs and about 10 years!! You look marvelous :D

Never really looked at this thread, but results are amazing! Just what I needed to keep on the straight and narrow!! Congrats to all above who posted their amazing photos!

Good work!

6/4: So far not bad. No stress eating. Lost 1 pound (toward the five I want for the month). Carbs under 30: not so good. But probably under net 30, so I'll take it.

Hang in there!! I see a difference. I am working on a similar problem and don't have a baby to show for it! I get discouraged at times when the weight seems to come off of every part of my body EXCEPT the belly. It just seems to be a really hard spot to reduce for most women.

I took the the title "The Magic Pill" to mean there wasn't any! That's just me :) I thought the documentary was worth watching.

For me: I cannot exercise off a bad diet. Believe me, I've tried! I am about 15-20 lbs off my ideal weight and have come back to this forum (yay!) and have begun logging my food (usually on scrap paper!) My diet is also a "head game". I must commit mentally and then follow through with my actions (note: not just words).…

I totally have a sugar/carb addiction. Always will. On a daily basis, I try my best to focus on other things, (job, family, house, pets) ANYTHING to totally get my mind off of it. Being carb-free doesn't completely remove the desire; just tames it a bit. Think about all you have accomplished in the past (yay!) and focus on…

Back on this forum after 1 1/2 years absence. Stress eating and drifting off LCHF has added 15 pounds to my frame and reading this post is EXACTLY what I needed!! Thanks for being so honest and sharing your insights with us.
