  • Muscle doesn't weight more than fat. Muscle is denser than fat. Therefore when you put on muscle and lose weight you look more tone. Taking measurements is a much better way of analyzing your success. Also remember, that the more muscle mass you have the more calories your body burns at rest!!!

  • Building muscle is a great idea!!! Cardio will burn calories, but building muscle is what will help make your body look tone. Muscle is denser than fat and though the weight won't come off as quickly you will be loosing inches! Also, the the greater your muscle mass, the greater calories you burn at rest!!!
  • Biked to 5k Bubble Run... Now biking 15 miles to a tree climbing adventure (with harnesses), then biking another 5 miles to our favorite outdoor brewery, then bike the 16+ miles home! It's a gorgeous day in the PacificNorthWest!

  • Took the dog out this morning before me 1st day on the new job to start Week 2 of the C25k. Then to celebrate the new job, my boyfriend and I rode bikes to a quaint little restaurant for drinks and food. Logging 79 minutes for today.
