  • Lifting heavy is of course not a must. You certainly don't need to lift to lose weight. However, I think when people say that, they simply mean that you should, or that it would help. Lifting is great, even (and especially) for runners. Running is great, I love running, but it doesn't build or help other muscular regions.…
