I am just restarting my journey for the millionth time... this time I am cutting alcohol out completely which has been the reason why I kept failing in my weight loss attempts... my drinking was problematic too. Thank you for being open and honest, it is giving me hope on my week one !!!

In 2008 when I was 19, I was 265 lbs, I lost 120 lbs and kept it off between 2008 - 2016. In 2016 I was 215 lbs, did keto and was losing weight due to pressure from my boyfriend (he knew I was big from the beginning, if he wasn't attracted than he shouldn't have dated me). So between 2016 - 2018 I lost a lot of weight with…

Shoulders, also if they have Mediterranean features (tanned skin, dark eyes, dark hair)... drives me crazy! I am very attracted to Italian or Greek men. :p

I am not new here as my journey has had its ups and downs, and ups again! This time I am serious about keeping it off and would love for others to add me so we can encourage each other.

I think people should love them selves at any size and try to strive towards Health at any size. That being said, the message has been distorted to meaning “healthy” at any size which to me is quite absurd and isn’t accurate for the majority of the morbidly obese individuals who claim they are healthy and fine at the…

It hurt so bad when my partner told me to lose weight but I had to. I was clinically obese (215 lbs) at 5”3 binge eating and drinking alcohol not a healthy lifestyle. He should have approached it better though. It’s all about how you talk about it with your partner. I’m now 152-153 and aiming for 120 lbs

I believe there is a food addiction, it is perpetuated by an underlining mental disorder, trauma or it can be behavioural (i.e. eating when you're bored). It is important to know what your triggers are. Some people are stress eaters and will cope with stress by eating. I use to do that, now I do cardio - and it actually…

I love having a satisfying high-protein breakfast. However, I don't like doing meal prep for egg-items a few days in advance... it just tastes...weird when you microwave it the next day or the day after. I make a spicy chicken omelette. I prep the chicken the night before and chop up red peppers, green peppers and red…

I am big believer in - do what works for you there is so much judgment with someone's choices - that being said, losing weight is more of a 'lifestyle' change. By buying frozen meals or shakes, you are not learning how to select, cook and portion whole nutritional foods which is a huge component on maintaining your weight…

I haven't binged drank for 3 weeks and I feel amazing, it is crazy the difference I feel since I stopped drinking (I would have 3-4 drinks at least four nights a week and once a week it would be a LOT in one night).

My go to was always salty foods like fast food. Now if I have an extreme craving for something salty, I will treat myself to a pickle. Not really healthy but it's better than fries at McDonald's ;) As for being really hungry I drink more water and fill up more on low calorie items like salad.
