I wouldn't worry about losing weight, I'd worry about eating healthy. I had two healthy pregnancies, one from 260 pounds to 300 pounds and one from 300 pounds to 320 pounds. Both times I lost the weight within six weeks (I gained it back after my first, though).

Great job! I'm jealous, I've lost almost forty pounds and I haven't gone down a pants size yet (I started at 305). Keep up the great work!

Congratulations! I totally lost it at the picture of you with your bass on your back. I can't stop chuckling. That's awesome.

Wow, you are really gorgeous in both pictures. Your hair in your before picture was perfect for you! Great job.

I eat very low-calorie breakfasts and lunches, then eat pretty much what I want for dinner/snacks. I have an egg white omelet in the morning (under 200 calories) and a prepackaged salad for lunch (under 300 calories). That gives me 700-1000 calories to play with for the rest of the day and I can have a nice big dinner. If…

I started eight pounds heavier than you and my goal weight is the same as yours. I'm almost three inches taller than you, though. I started at 296 on May 10 (over the previous year I lost ten pounds, so my starting weight was 305, but I started seriously trying on May 10) and I'm down to 273. My dream goal is 135,…

I have a doctor's appointment for my thyroid on July 18 (two weeks from today). I want to lose four more pounds by then, so I'm under 270 pounds. The last time I was there, I had lost eight pounds and they were thrilled. I want to lose twenty more and see if I get an even better reaction out of them. And by my appointment…

There's one ride at our local amusement park (we have season passes) that our one-year-old can't go on because of our weights (under a certain height, they need someone with them). Next year I'm going to be thin enough to go on that damn toddler ride.

A size twelve isn't that big. As much as it night be healthier for her to lose a bit of weight, she needs to be motivated for herself, not for you. My husband weighs around 300 pounds. He doesn't have an interest in losing weight, so I plan activities with the kids that are active and I make healthy meals. Maybe one day…

I had some friends over and one brought timbits (the best donut holes in the world). I didn't eat a single one, even when he offered me my favorite kind. It's the first time I've event resisted a timbit! And my husband had popcorn the other night and I didn't have any of it, even though the butter smelled SO good.

I exercised all winter and couldn't do the standing quad stretch. Today I finished the first day of C25K (all of the runs) AND was able to grab my ankle with my hand while standing for the first time in years!

I would love some more friends on MFP. Anyone who wants to can feel free to add me!
